Hey, Jeff! Thanks for another great piece. Been thinking about a recent trade propolsal in my 18 team 15-keeper dynasty league: jeudy for Michael Thomas and a 2022 first. Gonna consider your thoughts on this one. Anyway, thnx again pal

Just from a value standpoint, I think I would do that trade to get MT/2022 1st. Especially if it is SF.
18 team makes it a tough call though. Is it likely a mid or late 1st?

Pardon my ignorance, by SF you mean? (i’m from Brazil, sorry lol)
It will probably be in the 7th to 12th range. This pick is very attractive, kinda moving the sticks to get in better position for next year’s draft, got myself my own pick and another from the former Jeudy owner (mostly from 10 to 15th).

Sorry. SF = Superflex (Quarterback can start in a flex spot).
So the trade really depends on your goal — keeping Jeudy gives you a young stud WR for years, while trading for MT/pick gives you the proven vet who might decline in value over the next 2 years but still help you contend, while adding a potential high upside rookie. Or you could use that pick to trade for another vet that helps contend.

Author Update:
Will Fuller has been placed on IR, meaning he will miss at least 3 weeks with a fractured finger. I believe this also means he will be getting surgery, similar to Chris Godwin last year. I was wrong on his initial return to play in being able to return in 1-2 weeks.
