Great write-up! I have a few very subjective comments…

Even with Pederson gone I can’t see any way Wentz can have that job over Hurts. I would love to see him in Indy with Reich. Same goes for a Matt Ryan – Shanahan thing again in SF. Free Sam Darnold! Mac Jones should be a Patriot and I want nothing more than to see Stafford in any uniform besides the terrible, no good Lions.

Thanks.

IMO Hill over Winston had more to do with evaluating Hill to see if he could potentially replace Brees in the future. They had years of film on Winston and already knew what they had in him, while Hill only had a few gadget plays and practice reps on his resume. If he would have struggled I’m sure they would have gone to Winston in a heartbeat. Whether he did enough in those few games to lock up the spot is the question. He might have held his own, but I’m not going to say he was head and shoulders above everyone else either. Depending on what SF does with Garoppolo maybe we see a reunion in NE??
