*** Please read this introduction fully BEFORE posting your question! ***
To our knowledge, DLF is the only fantasy site that answers your specific lineup questions all seventeen weeks of the NFL regular season and into the post season as well. It’s just another feature we offer our valued premium subscribers.
Our lineup advice isn’t an overly-simplified one-dimensional list of players each week which doesn’t account for your own individual situation, changing player variables or your match-up. Every week, each question is given our full attention with respect to match-up, weather and trends in combination with your unique circumstances to render a decision as if it was our own team. That’s the commitment that we make to each of you and what you hopefully have come to expect from DLF. We’ve been performing this service for years and despite our continued Premium subscriber growth, we’re not stopping now.
If you’d like a second opinion on your lineup for the week, simply comment to this post with your question. We’ll answer every single lineup question submitted in a timely fashion as an exclusive service only for our Premium subscribers.
Before submitting a question, please take note of the following items which will help us help you:
- DLF continues to grow and our weekly lineup advice is very popular. Our goal is to aid in your decision making, not manage your roster. Please don’t post each position from EVERY one of your teams. The fewer the questions, the more thorough our research can be. Because of the growth we’ve seen this past year, I ask that you please be very mindful of this request. Quality lineup advice means taking time with each one so please help us out in this area.
- Scoring System – Let us know if your league is PPR, non-PPR or if there are any unusual scoring rules that would affect our advice. “Standard” scoring often means different things to different owners.
- We always like to see what YOU are thinking on your question(s) first. On those “toss-up” or “coin-flip” plays, as we call them, knowing which way you are leaning helps us.
- Go easy on us! We strongly encourage each coach to make their own decision(s) but we’re here to help as much as possible. We pride ourselves on our accuracy and research, but our crystal balls aren’t perfect.
- If you wait until game day to ask your question, we may not get to you. Be sure to register your question as early as possible.
- If you respond to one of our comments, it’s usually best to do so as a brand new comment so it’s sure to be seen! Responses can get lost or missed as the string grows.
Good luck this season!
Let’s get to it!

Full PPR. Can’t believe I’m asking this, but Evan Engram or Seals-Jones at TE?
Engram, but with Geno throwing? I dunno.
Crowell or Alex Collins at RB?
Guess I’m leaning Crowell cause of pass catching possibilities.
Watkins or Corey Coleman?
Leaning Watkins, but guessing Patterson is covering him.
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:09 pm
I can’t rec Seals-Jones yet, not over Engram. As much as I’d like to. Just isn’t getting enough snaps and he’s on the radar now of defenses due to his snap to reception ratio.
It’s a toss up here but I lean Collins. Crowell only has two receptions over the past 3 weeks. I just don’t think there offense is respected enough such that D’s can key on stopping the run.

Good day Jeff, full PPR, need your expert advice for the playoff push. Need two RBs, Freeman, Coleman, Morris or Ajayi. Also need three WRs, Cooks, Adams, Diggs, Baldwin or Watkins. Thank you for taking the time to help, very much appreciated. Good luck this week.
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:12 pm
Ajayi just isn’t getting the touches yet so I’d go Freeman and Coleman. Watch injuries.
Cooks, Adams and Baldwin. Every time I sit Diggs he burns me but can’t start him over those other three.
Go gettem Vito. Thanks … having a great year this year myself. None of my teams are below .500 and all my pay league teams are playoff bound. Well, one has a bit of work to do but I’m optimistc.

Hey Jeff,
Full ppr: In order who would you start….Crowder, Adams, Tevin, R Anderson, Tate. I’ll be sitting two of them.
Need 1 TE: Vernon Davis, Clay or Seals-Jones?
Thanks!

Hi Jeff! Here we are at the end of the regular season with a week 14 bye on the line!
0.5 PPR, with TE premium (1pt/7 yards instead of 1/10 for RB and WR).
I need 2 of these 3.
Dion Lewis @Bills
Tevin Coleman vs Vikes
Hunter Henry vs Browns.
And one DST.
Steelers @ Bengals
Seahawks vs Eagles.
I’m actually leaning Lewis and Henry given that it’s easier for TE to get points on yardage. But if Freeman is out again, then I’d just do Lewis and Coleman. Or Henry and Coleman.
For defense, the Eagles scare me and the Bungles are what they are so I’m leaning Steelers. But they looked bad against the Packers last week so that has me with some misgivings.
Thanks all season!
Eastman
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:18 pm
Nice Eastman!
I’ll take Lewis and Coleman. Henry is a bit of spoiler. Hasn’t been great until last week.
Steelers
Good luck!

November 28, 2017 at 4:52 pm
You’ve been killing it the last few weeks, let’s keep it going Jeff!
1) 1/2 PPR, pick two out of Diggs, Jimmy Graham and Crowder
2) 1/2 PPR, pick three out of Mckinnon, Alf Morris, Mixon, T Coleman, Corey Coleman, Hunter Henry, DeVante Parker and Josh Doctson
3) PPR, pick two out of Josh Doctson, Sammy Watkins, Jordy Nelson and Corey Davis
4) Case Keenum or Derek Carr (that was painful to type).
Thank you!!!
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:20 pm
Good to hear Ryan … was I sucking before then? LOL
1) Graham and Crowder – Watch injury
2) McK, Mixon, T Coleman. Henry is the spoiler here. Parker will blow up since i”m sitting him everywhere, he’s maddening
3) Sammy and Davis – Doctson for Watkins if you want to live dangerously. Oh Jordy, where art thou
4) Sadly … Keenum. I’m glad I traded Carr.

November 28, 2017 at 4:56 pm
12 team 1/2 PPR (keeper league, shallow rosters) Win and I’m in or Lose and go home situation for me.
I’m starting julio and keenan allen and Jordan Howard.
What other RB and flex would you start out of: Dez, Kupp, Corey Davis, Doug Martin, Ameer Abdullah, Theo Riddick, Danny Woodhead.
I was thinking about staying away from dez, c davis, d martin as they have all been disappointing so far and start Kupp and woodhead or abdullah.
I also currently have Stafford with Goff and Keenum on waivers, thought about picking one of those guys up and playing them instead (Goff over Keenum).
Thanks in advance. I just joined DLF, so I’m looking forward to the response!

Firstly, thank you for supporting us here Justin … much appreciated! We can’t do what we do without our Premium members!
Ouch … talk about a nervous week. Gut check time and be a good sport either way. Have fun with it!
I agree with you. When you are in a must win, some times you need to play it safe and put the responsibility on your opponent to score more. In those times go with known touches and role.
Kupp and Abdullah. I hate playing Abdullah so if you want a bit more upside with not much less downside, go with Davis.
I really like Goff this week but he carries more risk than most think. I’d still play him over Stafford vs. that tough BAL D. He’s also banged up

Hey Jeff. How are you?
Need help in both leagues
Both of them are non-PPR – IDP Scoring 1.5/tackle, 3/sack, interception or fumble, 1.5/TFL bonus, 1.5/Pass defended
League 1:
QB (1): Wentz or Ryan
RB (2): Gurley, Fournette, McCoy, Mixon
WR (2): Julio, Evans, Cooper, Demaryius, Crowder
TE(1): Kelce, Henry
Flex: one from RB or WR
DL(1): JPP or Calais
LB(1): Telvin Smith or Deion Jones
DB(1): Adams, Addae or Amos
League 2:
RB (2): Kamara, Doug Martin/Jacquizz Rodgers, Henry, Breida, Conner, Byron Marshall
WR (2): AJG, TY, Doctson, Kearse
Flex: 1 of the above
Thanks!

November 29, 2017 at 7:30 pm
Hey Pedro. Awesome, thanks for asking. Love this time of season, both football and holiday. Good friends, great family and the best football community on the Net. So thankful for all of you!
QB: Wentz – Can’t sit him
RB: Gurley and McCoy
WR: Julio and Evans
TE: Kelce
FX: Fournette – As long as he’s healthy, he’s been not good of late. But non ppr send me to Fournette
DL: Calais
LB: Smith – Watch injury and if there’s any uncertainty, switch.
DB: Adams
Kamara and Henry
AJG, TY
FX: Doctson
Good luck
Leonard Carollo
November 28, 2017 at 6:53 pm
Pick 3 non ppr: Booker, McKissic, Corey Coleman, Bruce Ellington, Sammy Watkins, Byron Marshall
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:31 pm
Watkins, Booker and Coleman – I do have a feeling about McKissic this week but he’s risky. If you want, play him over Coleman
Nick Lauer
November 28, 2017 at 6:57 pm
Non-PPR. I’m not sure who to start at WR.
The Hilton matchup is bad on paper and it’s not like Hilton has dominated against good defenses this year w/o Luck. But on the flipside, I have a lot invested in Hilton and his ceiling is quite high. All of this aside, Desean seems like a safer play and is currently who I’d start against a suspect GBP defense at home.
TY Hilton at Jaguars
or
D. Jackson at GB
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:33 pm
Not sure I completely agree there although JAX is tough. Hilton is going to be up against Aaron Colvin much of the time and I doubt Ramsey will travel much. But it’s possible.
That Jackson matchup vs. Davon House is pretty juicy and they’ll be passing a lot.
Classic lower floor but higher ceiling … start Jackson.
Jeff Davison
November 28, 2017 at 7:07 pm
Is it crazy to start Gabbert (vs LAR) over Stafford (at BAL)?
0.5 per completion, – 0.6 per incompletion
TD can be 4-6 depending upon length of passing td -3 for INT, – 1 for sacks
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:34 pm
Not this week it’s not but, that said, I can’t do it in week 13. Probably not ever for me, but understand the play if you want to shoot the moon.
Ryan Robowski
November 28, 2017 at 7:12 pm
Thank for the help last week!
.5 PPR
Start 3 (Perine,Hyde,Collins,Diggs)
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:35 pm
We win?
Perine, Hyde and Collins.
Most will take Diggs over Collins but I want the guaranteed touches and Diggs is going to continue to get double coverage until they can establish some other receiver other than Rudolph
Ryan Robowski
November 29, 2017 at 7:56 pm
We won last week great call with the Collins call last week! I’ll ride with him again?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:30 pm
Yes! I love it when we win and I feel every wrong call I make. But you have to play the matchup, not the result. Doesn’t always work out.
Federico Triulzi
November 29, 2017 at 1:10 am
Hi Jeff, playoffs starting this week in my league.
(Standard scoring, 0.25 pts PPR)
We start 1 QB, RB, WR, TE + 2 FLEX (no QB). I have Alex Smith and Mark Ingram pegged as QB and RB. Fournette should be one of my two FLEXs, so I need…
1WR
1TE
1FLEX
Options are: Robby Anderson, Dez Bryant, Alshon Jeffery, Demaryius Thomas -> need 2 of them.
TE are: Vernon Davis or Tyler Kroft -> need 1 of them.
Thanks a lot.
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:37 pm
Then we better get this correct Federico!
.25 PPR is treated just as Non PPR in my book.
WR Robby – he’s been too hot to sit.
TE Davis
FX Alshon – I think he has a nice game and scores this week.
Good luck
Barry Ghezzi
November 29, 2017 at 4:35 am
Hey Jeff, Thanks for helping out.
Standard league and can start 3 RBs out of these 5
Latavius Murray v ATL
Alvin Kamara v CAR
Kareem Hunt v NYJ
Jamaal Williams v TB
LeSean McCoy v NE
Same league, Wentz v SEA or Goff v ARI
Thanks in advance
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:39 pm
Happy to Barry … thanks for supporting DLF.
Kamara
Williams
McCoy
Williams has been too good and Hunt too bad of late … I’m not hoping Hunt gets better this week when it counts too much. HE needs to show me more first.
Can’t sit Wentz … win or lose.
John Jannino
November 29, 2017 at 4:57 am
It is the last week for add/drops in my league. I have clinched a 1st rd bye so only have to worry about week 15 & hopefully week 16.
I currently have Denver D, should I keep them for week 15 vs Colts and week 16 vs Washington or pick up Saints for week 15 vs Jets & Bears for week 16 vs Browns?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:40 pm
Congrats!
I’d stick with New Orleans clearly.
Kenneth Burns
November 29, 2017 at 5:19 am
wondering who to start at QB. Mariotta good match up but not putting up good fantasy numbers. Cam Newton, banged up and weapons are banged up, but could be a shootout. And on waivers: McCown, Bortles, Hundley all have good matchups.
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:42 pm
I’d stick with Cam, win or lose I want him in.
Hundley is intriguing but I’d ride Newton in NOLA.
Matthew Morgan
November 29, 2017 at 5:38 am
Need a flex, .5 PPR
Tevin Coleman, Doctson, Lee, or Corey Coleman.
Thanks for the help!
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:43 pm
Coleman with Doctson as a close #2
Tom Gutmann
November 29, 2017 at 5:46 am
PPR
1-2 RB, 2-3 WR
Ingram, kamara, Mixon
Nuk, AJ, Keenan
leaning Kamara and the three receivers
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:43 pm
Yup … I’d do the same. We can’t BOTH be wrong can we?
Sam Zitin
November 29, 2017 at 6:41 am
.5ppr
QB- Same agony, Prescott or Keenum? I’m leaning heavily towards keenum but hate doing so
I’m locked in with Gurley, Hyde and CMC at rb and flex
Which WR do I bench?
Alshon, Diggs, Baldwin, Keenan Allen?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:44 pm
Keenum – Dak with negative points for me in two straight games now.
I bench Diggs easily of those group.
Hudson Ireland
November 29, 2017 at 6:46 am
PPR. Need a flex from Lynch, Sanu, or Engram?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:45 pm
Tough call here!
Most like Engram here but I’m in the minority and taking Lynch. A great matchup and he eats this week with guaranteed touches!
Joseph Baptista Jr
November 29, 2017 at 6:59 am
Full point PPR, I need one TE: ASJ, Clay or Seals-Jones?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:46 pm
Sticking with ASJ but hopeful to see one more week of production for Seals-Jones to see if he’s the real deal.
J Cakes
November 29, 2017 at 7:00 am
Standard scoring and Division title on the line:
QB, need 2 RB, 2 WR and Flex:
Wilson vs. PHI
Wentz @ SEA
Coleman vs. MIN
McKinnon @ ATL
Miller @ TEN
Morris @ WAS
Funchess @ NO
Jeffery @ SEA
Thomas vs. CAR
I’ve got the three WRs in there (one as the Flex) and I have Coleman and Miller as my RBs.
– Is Morris worth starting in a game vs. his old team?
– can Coleman be trusted with Freeman return and playing against MIN D?
And I’ve gone back and forth DAILY on Wilson and Wentz! LOL
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:49 pm
QB Wentz – Always, he’s just been too good.
RB Coleman and Miller – I hate Miller so if you want to bench him for McKinnon, fine by me.
WR Funchess and Jeffery
FX Thomas
No and I trust Coleman enough has he’s produced and while Freeman does sap his value a bit, he’s still a threat every time he touches the ball
Pete Stansberry
November 29, 2017 at 7:12 am
Back with the usual and a bit extra. Pick one TE and one of the remaining. 0.5 PPR. Graham, Engram, Walker, DT, Dez. Leaning Graham at TE and DT flex. Thanks again!
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:49 pm
Graham and DT
We agree
Tanner Baloh
November 29, 2017 at 8:28 am
Need a Flex play in a .5 PPR league: McCaffrey, Crowell, or Alex Collins?
Am I overthinking this, or am I right to consider the latter two based on matchups? Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:51 pm
These are all very close but I can’t sit McCaffrey here.
I’d start McCaffrey and Crowell. I don’t trust Collins with Woodhead back now in full swing. He has looked good though
Tanner Baloh
November 30, 2017 at 3:07 pm
Many thanks
Joseph Miedema
November 29, 2017 at 9:35 am
Hi Jeff,
Must win both games this week to have a chance at the last playoff spot. At least I’m getting my money’s worth haha.
0.5 PPR:
QB:
Big Ben @ Cincinnati or Tyrod @ NE
RB/WR: (this is where it gets tricky)
Ajayi @ Seattle, Kenyan Drake vs Denver, Alfred Morris vs Redskins, AP vs Rams
Agholor @ Seattle, Rishard Matthews vs Hou, Sterling Shepard @ Oak, Thielen @ ATL, Fitz vs Rams, Crabtree vs NYG (susp)
I’m starting Thielen and Fitz for sure. So beyond that I need either 2 x WRs/2 x RBs or 1 x WR/3 x RBs.
Geno Smith getting the nod doesn’t help my Shepard outlook, even if he does play and get over his “migraines”. And Rishard Matthews may not play either. If they both play, I should start them right? And then for RB was thinking Morris since Dallas should have their full O line healthy, and AP for volume. If I need a 3rd RB was thinking Kenyan Drake since Williams is out and he should get carries. Can’t trust Ajayi right now.
IDP (tackle heavy scoring)
DT: David Irving vs WAS or A’Shawn Robinson @ Baltimore. Leaning Robinson here…been getting more tackles lately. Irving trailed off last few games and their pass rush is non existent without Sean Lee seems like.
LB: Need two of these 3
Bradham @ Sea, BJ Goodson @ Oak (if he plays), Kyle Van Noy @ Buf
Safety (crapshoot, I know):
Need 1: Coleman @ Saints, Justin Simmons @ Miami, Adrian Phillips vs Cleveland
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 7:58 pm
Yeesh, tall order … but those long odds can be fun.
Big Ben
I agree with everything you said. Not excited about Shep but I’d probably still start him like you said.
Robinson clearly for me.
Bradham and Van Noy – Watch the injury
Phillips
Joseph Miedema
November 30, 2017 at 8:46 am
Awesome, thanks Jeff! One thing forgot to add, also have Zay Jones vs NE as a WR option as well…not sure if that changes anything or not though, just throwing it out there 🙂
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 12:44 pm
Maybe … but too inconsistent for me. good week for a possible increase in production.
Mark D'Angelo
November 29, 2017 at 11:14 am
Going to need a massive week points wise to have a shot at getting in
.5 PPR. 6 Pts per Pass TD.
Need 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 TE, 2 Flex
QB: Mariota, Taylor
RB: Mixon, Henry, Lynch, Burkhead
WR: Ginn, Diggs, Watkins, DT, Sanu, Corey Davis
TE: Ertz, Walker
My picks:
QB: Mariota (hoping the upside is there still..)
RB: Mixon (Can make a case for him, lynch, or Burkhead)
WR: Ginn (Highest upside I think)
TE: Ertz (Duh)
2 Flex: Walker, Burkhead (I like Walker has the focal point of passing game in a good spot, and still like Burkhead here for his TD potential, other option is Lynch due to the volume and matchup)
Thanks for all your help this year!
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:04 pm
So we shoot for the stars here and hope for the moon!
QB: Taylor vs an improving NE D
RB: Lynch
WR: Ginn – For pure upside
TE: Ertz
2 FX: Burkhead, Mixon
You left out WR in the “Need” so I’m assuming you just wanted Ginn there but we agree on that play.
Those 2 RBs are just volume touch plays in .5 PPR hoping for goal line touches. DT has a nice matchup and I’d also consider starting him over Mixon if you want to go for upside. there. Mixon has a chance for a short TD but he has a very low floor.
Mark D'Angelo
November 30, 2017 at 6:16 am
Oops. Yeah I forgot to include 1 WR for the need. Though, frankly I’d like to start none of them if I could. After OBJ went down, it’s been a rough year for my WR corps. Thanks Jeff!
Brock Alekna
November 29, 2017 at 11:46 am
.5 PPR – Pick 3
Jerick McKinnon @ ATL
Latavius Murray @ ATL
Marshawn Lynch vs NYG
DeMarco Murray vs HOU
Rex Burkhead @ BUF
Dez Bryant vs WAS
Marvin Jones @ BAL
Jordy Nelson vs TBB
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:06 pm
Lynch
Burkhead – Hard to sit right now
Murray
I really want to start Jones over Murray …. VERY Close. Go with your gut
Vendetta .
November 29, 2017 at 1:17 pm
Hey Jeff, I need two out of these four (one needs to be a WR)
No-PPR
Marshawn Lynch
Golden Tate
DeSean Jackson
Evan Engram
I’m leaning Lynch and Tate (although it’s mostly because I picked him up in a trade two weeks ago but he’s sucked ever since I got him)
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:08 pm
Lynch for sure.
Djax’s matchup vs. Davon House is tough to pass up in NON PPR when you need a receiver. Have to go big in these cases and DJax is your play. ENgram is interesting but that QB change doesn’t bode well. Trades like that happen … keep the faith, it’ll turn.
Sam
November 29, 2017 at 2:44 pm
Final week of the regular season, let’s have some fun.
Non PPR
Flex 5: J. Mixon, C. Hyde, K. Allen, D. Adams, B. Cooks, A. Jeffery, A. Collins, J. Williams, J. Kearse, Marvin Jones, Ty Mont, J. Gordon
QB: P. Rivers, D. Prescott
QB: J. Winston, M. Mariota
PPR
Flex 2: M. Lee, C. Davis, D. Woodhead, C. Coleman, D. Henry, Juju, J. Gordon, J. Kearse
Flex: D. Parker, Juju
QB: C. Wentz, M. Stafford
Flex 2: C. Coleman, C. Davis, J. Doctson, D. Parker, P. Richardson, T. Cohen
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:13 pm
Let’s do it, love your attitude …. have to keep it fun!
FX: Hyde, Williams, Collins, Allen and Adams
QB: Rivers
QB: Mariota
FX: Davis and Woodhead – Tough choices, go with your gut here. Henry is interesting as is JuJU if he starts. I’d consider him over Davis
FX: JuJu if he’s up – If he’s not 100% go with the disappointing Parker
QB: Wentz all day
FX: Doctson and Cohen. Cohen’s floor is concerning so go with Davis if desired. Can’t start Parker until he shows consistency.
Patrick Baumgardner
November 29, 2017 at 2:59 pm
Jeff,
First time writing in this column! Excited to receive some valued perspective. I have 2 leagues:
League A- 1ppr, big play bonuses.
QB: Stafford @ Bal, Keenum @atl
Start 7 players total btw rb/wr/te. Must start 1/ea per position, then any combination after. So I can start 5 wr’s if wanted.
Starting Gurley, Ingram, mccaffery, Diggs, Evans. Need 2 more including te: Dez @ wash, Coleman or Gordon @ chargers, Hilton at Jax, Doyle @ Jax, ASJ @KC
League B- 1PPR
QB: McCown @ KC, Newton @ No, Winston @ GB
Flex: Davante Adams over smith-schuster or Mixon right?
Thanks!!
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:17 pm
Glad to have you Patrick … thanks for writing in!
QB: Keenum – Tough call for me here but Stafford up against BAL on a gimpy ankle scares me with big play bonuses avail for Keenum
RB: Gurley, Ingram, McCaff,
WR: Diggs, Evans, Coleman
TE: Doyle
FX: Adams – correct
Patrick Baumgardner
November 30, 2017 at 9:35 am
Jeff, the Coleman love makes me so happy! Last year I traded away CJA and KB for Coleman and 2nd rd rookie pick. I had just joined DLF premium and was on the fence about it. Knew it was risky, but loved his college highlights and felt he had the chance to be a make a bigger impact than CJA or KB. You told me to go with my gut because part of the joy of the game is having your guys and rooting for them. Corey is one of my guys. Still waiting on him to explode, but I think its coming. Thanks for input Jeff!
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 12:46 pm
Still very much believe that. Not sure what to make of Coleman and I don’t own him anywhere but I’m rooting for you/him. :o)
Patrick Baumgardner
December 1, 2017 at 10:43 am
Yeah I agree still as well. He is one of my guys, I think he will be good as long as he stays healthy. Maybe not great, but CJA and KB are not starters on my team and I know their ceiling. I think the QB is coming this draft, and if he stays healthy can make a few bro bowls.
Patrick Baumgardner
November 30, 2017 at 9:37 am
Sorry Jeff, Can you address:
League B- 1PPR
QB: McCown @ KC, Newton @ No, Winston @ GB
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 12:46 pm
I’m sticking with Newton especially if Lattimore is out
Patrick Baumgardner

12 team PPR need to start 2 RB’s. Perine/Dion Lewis/Jamaal WILLIAMS.
The remainder of my roster is as follows. I need a high score to get on 1st place
QB: Russ Wilson
WR: K Allen/ Alshon
TE: Gronk
Flex: Ertz
Dst: Chargers
K: Jake Elliot.

RB: Williams and Lewis
Decent looking lineup.

16 team .5 ppr
RB: Forte or Riddick? leaning riddick
TE: Vernon Davis or Jason Witten? leaning Davis
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:20 pm
RB: Riddick because we don’t know what Forte’s role will really be
TE: Davis – Reed is out and Witten has been disappointing of late
Evan Overholt
November 29, 2017 at 5:41 pm
TNF implications: 0.5 ppr; need 2 WR, 1 RB, and 1 Flex out of the following:
WRs are Dez, Keenan Allen, Devante Parker, and Juju
RBs are Lamar Miller, Perine, and Kenyan Drake
Also have Evan Engram available for Flex spot
Right now I’m leaning Dez, Keenan, and Perine…i have such a hard time sitting Dez but he’s been killing me. Also really want to start Drake but Denver D is a pretty tough matchup. what do you think?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:22 pm
WR: Allen and JuJu – watch the injury news on JuJu
RB: Perine
FX: Miller
Drake vs. Denver D doesn’t inspire me. A flagging Dez vs. Josh Norman is too much for me to start him as much as I hate to say it.
Evan Overholt

6 pt passing TDs, would you start D. Carr or Keenum?
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:23 pm
Keenum
Chris Levy
November 29, 2017 at 6:59 pm
1pt ppr
– Rivers or Stafford?
– Pick 2 THill SDiggs DFunchess JDoyle
– Better D through week 16 Lions or Pats?
I reluctantly pick Rivers. Also leaning towards Hill and Funchess. Thinking Lions because of future opponents but mostly road games. That’s a tossup
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:24 pm
Rivers
Hill and Funchess – Every time I sit Diggs he goes off but I won’t start him over the upside of those other two.
We agree!
Stan Hyatt
November 29, 2017 at 8:01 pm
Starting 4 LB’s. My first choice is I’m going with David, Foster, Bostic and Posluszny. I have Houston as well. Would you consider Houston over one of the above?
Jeff Haverlack

Nope … you got it right.

Kemo,
PPR for Thurs nite
Didn’t start Crowder last week but managed to get the W with two other guys named Hopkins and Evans. (I should have flexed him for Jordan Howard but didn’t expect him to go that crazy). This week Howard is in a good matchup at home vs. the SF DST and my only other spots for Jamison would be replacing Howard, Alex Smith (2nd QB along with Stafford) or McCaffrey in New Orleans. Would you replace any of them in this week 13 with Crowder or let him sit again?
TE’s Vernon D, Rudolph, or Kroft this week?
Thx.
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:28 pm
Did I suggest Crowder last week? I think I would have but he’s a bit streaky so sometimes it’s hard to fit him in.
I wouldn’t start him over those other plays. The matchups are too good … if I had to, it would be for McCaffrey but in PPR I’ll take the guaranteed touches
Jeff Haverlack
November 29, 2017 at 8:28 pm
Oops … have to stick with Rudolph but Davis with Reed out is intriguing.

12 team Non-PPR looking to fill following 3 positions
RB1:
RB2:
Flex:
Kamara, McCaffrey, Perine, Burkhead
Kamara and Perine no brainers IMO.
Who should I flex? McCaffrey or Burkhead? Stick with my year long starter McCaffrey or ride the hot hand with Burkhead?
Kenneth Burns
November 29, 2017 at 8:44 pm
which 2 to start? Ajayi, Juju, Martavis,Dede,Flash?
Kenneth Burns
November 30, 2017 at 11:18 am
can add DJ Foster to the list, but only 1 can be a rb.
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 2:53 pm
Kamara, Burkhead and Perine
In non-ppr, Burkhead is looking too strong and Mccaffrey needs to score to be effective. Gillislee will likely be deactivated again so Burkhead looks like a good play.
JuJu if he plays, Martavis if he doesn’t. After that I’d start Ajayi but not happy about it.
Stan Hyatt
November 29, 2017 at 9:06 pm
PPR league, need to pick one of these two. Both appear to have good matchups. I’m inclined to go with Perine, but Dion Lewis also a good choice. Your thoughts?
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 2:54 pm
Perine has a good matchup and has been getting the touches to be a difference maker. Lewis has the upside and the PPR format for consistency that I like.
Personally I give the edge to Lewis here for PPR, but he’s got a lower flower than Perine but he’s been consistent in the teens.

Standard Scoring
Pick 1
Mariota vs Hou
Ryan vs Minn
Tyrod vs NE
Pick 2 (it’s ugly)
Coleman vs Minn
McKessic vs Phi
Rod Smith vs Wash
MikeDavis vs Phi
JStew vs NO
Marshall vs Dall
PBarber vs GB
JRichard vs NYG
Pick 4
Julio vs Minn
Evans vs GB
Adams vs TB
MThomas vs Car
Sammy vs Arz
Gordon vs SD
Seal-Jones vs LAR
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 2:57 pm
Tyrod for me due to matchup and rushing yards. I don’t trust Mariota at all or Ryan vs. MIN. Tyrod may be the biggest risk here. If you want safety, go with ryan
Coleman and Jstew for me. Yeah, that’s ugly. Rod Smith is interesting over Coleman but I’d still go Coleman.
Julio
Evans

Hey Jeff! Long time since I’ve been out here. I hope all is well.
Rebuilding team that is in the playoffs and can possibly sneak into the number 2 seed with a win this week. 1/2 point ppr. I need two RBs from the following:
Mixon, McCaffrey, Kamara, Crowell, Rex Burkhead.
Thanks,
Vich
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 2:59 pm
Hey Thans … where ya been?
good luck picking the right two there. I’d go Kamara and Burkhead but not confident at all there. Mixon’s matchup isnt great, McCaffrey is interesting but that .5 PPR downgrades him. Crowell should have a good game but you can’t start him with the other options. Burkhead is hot as is Kamara. the CAR matchup isn’t great for Kamara so if that scares you away, go Burk and McCaff.
Might as well roll a 5-sided die.
Kris H
November 30, 2017 at 6:19 am
Non PPR league with standard scoring (6pt TD) except QB which gets 1 pt per 10 yards passing.
J Winston @ GPB or Cam @ NOS. Have Cam but seems like a lack of weapons against the Saints Def.
Need 3 of the 5 for WR position.
K Allen vs CLE, D Hopkins @ TEN, T Hill vs NYJ, M Evans @ GBP or Gronk vs BUF . Hill on the bench but thinking Hopkins, Evans and Allen but hate to sit Gronk based on past success vs Bills.
L Miller @ TEN or K Hunt @ NYJ…burned me last week so have Miller in my lineup now.
Thanks in advance
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 3:01 pm
Came
Allen, Hopkins and Gronk for me but Evans outscoring one of them wouldn’t surprise me in the least. I want to bench Allen but can’t given recent performance.
Miller right now. Hunt has hit the wall and defenses are taking him away. This is the game where Reid my try to jumpstart the run to open up the pass so he could bounce back, but his recent weeks have been horrible.
Jeff Burnett
November 30, 2017 at 6:49 am
In PPR, if you owned both Burkhead and Lewis (as I do), who are you starting weekly? Burkhead seemst to have more TD upside and is getting a little more receiving work but Lewis has also looked great. Is it truly a coin flip?
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 3:03 pm
Lewis for safety.
it mostly is a coin flip because it depends on how many stripe opportunities NE gets. Without them, Burk won’t score nearly as much …. but he has been on fire. Lewis is just a consistent performer.

Dak or Marriotta

Mariota until we see Dak work his way out of this.
Chris Pellegrini

I’m in a full point PPR.
for QB it’s between J Garoppolo or B Hundley (leaning Hundley)
for my 3rd WR it’s between Sammy Watkins and Marquis Goodwin (leaning Goodwin).
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 3:15 pm
Hundley. Watkins is the easy choice for me but Goodwin has that upside if JimmyG can find him. I just prefer the more known commodity and that is arguable this year.

I’ve clinced a spot in the playoffs in a PPR league, so now I’m looking out over the next 3 weeks.
I’ve got a dynasty team with both Ty Montgomery and Aaron Jones on the bench, injured but returning.
I need to drop one of these guys, so… who is the most valuable, this season and long term.
My other RBs are Devonta Freeman, Kareem Hunt and Alex Collins. Thanks.
Jeff Haverlack
November 30, 2017 at 3:17 pm
I’m not a TyMo fan at all so the choice is clear there for me. Others love him though I don’t know why. I’d keep Jones as a pure runner. TyMo has always been a bit of a tweener.

Standard scoring
QB – 6 point TD
Wentz in Sea or Ben in Cincy? My gut is saying Carson but Sea is a tough place to play.
Tate, Landry or Sanders for WR3? starting AJ and Jeffery
IDP 1 pt tackle, .5 pt assist, 3 pts sack, pick, fumble. They are listed in the order I am leaning towards.
DL: Griffen, Heyward, Vernon, Barnett (need 2)
LB: Kwon, D.Jones, D.Davis (need 2)
DB: Byard, Reed, Joesph
Thank you for your time it is appreciated!
Chad Rightmyer
December 1, 2017 at 4:05 am
Ops….Eric Reid or Karl Joseph (pick 2)
Jeff Haverlack
December 1, 2017 at 8:13 am
Wentz for me … he’s been too strong. I agree and I wouldn’t argue if you wanted to start Ben instead of Wentz at the Clink in Seattle.
Tate but not happy about it.
DL: Truly a toss up here, go with your gut
LB: Kwon and Jones for me
DB: Byard and Reid but Josph is interesting with Smith starting.

Hi Jeff, I need some help picking my RB’s this week. I’m on the verge of the playoffs and want to know which two RB’s you’d pick. 1 PPR
D. Murray
AP
Crowell
T. Coleman
I currently have Murray and AP. What are your thoughts?
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 1, 2017 at 8:16 am
This one is really tough and it does change things a bit with you fighting for the playoffs. You need consistent touches.
Murray and AP are the two I’d choose. I want to choose Murray and Coleman but with Freeman back, you don’t know how it’s going to be with the share. Coleman has 4 TDs in the past three weeks but only 2 receptions over that time. Guessing his receptions will rise now but too much of a guess.
Coleman has a nice matchup but just can’t do it.

Struggling with this. PPR, pick 3
K. Hunt
Duke Johnson
Rudolph
Shepard
T. Coleman
Thanks Jeff!
Jeff Haverlack
December 1, 2017 at 8:27 am
I’d be struggling too. Hunt has been so bad of late and is almost unstartable. Coleman has been great but Freeman is returning.
DJ and Rudolph are starting for you, especially in PPR.
My last play would be Hunt but wouldn’t blame you for going Coleman. I won’t start Shep with Geno Smith at the helm. Hunt vs. a shaky run D in New York (Jets) and they are getting back to basics.

December 1, 2017 at 8:58 am
How much value does Jordy have this week?
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:17 pm
I don’t see more than previous weeks. You can start him as a last flex play with a decent ceiling but calling a breakout of a player that has put up multiple weeks of poor performance is a fool’s folly.
Geoff Farina
December 1, 2017 at 9:52 am
Tough Decision:
Win and some help and I’m in the playoffs so this is a big one.
1 qb league. Winston or Dalton?
My gut says Dalton but he has just been historically bad against the steelers. Winston has been inconsistent but the last time he came off an injury versus Buffalo he went off.
Thank you.
Geoff Farina
December 1, 2017 at 10:44 am
Also PPR league, Shepard or Sanu? Thanks
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:18 pm
Sanu
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:22 pm
Not an easy call at all. I’d shoot the moon and go with Winston. Last time Dalton put up low teens vs. PIT who has a good pass D. Winston has been awful recently and he’s got a lower floor, but a higher ceiling in my mind. He’s still making his way back from injury so it’s anyone’s guess as to what he does.
I’d go Winston but I’m not confident
Don T
December 1, 2017 at 11:48 am
Devante Parker or Sammy Watkins 1pt PPR
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:24 pm
I hate this …. Parker has been maddeningly bad and something isn’t right be it injury or QB play. I play Watkins but he has a lower ceiling than Parker who will have a good game at some point. Guessing when is just that …a guess. He’s almost unstartable now.

To the well again, Jeff!
Start 2QB PPR league. Rivers is my QB1, but can’t decide who to put in the second slot. My choices are Dalton, Keenum, Hundley or McCown. Currently rolling with McCown.
Also wavering between Zay and Kearse as my WR3. Going with the Jet again.
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:27 pm
Hopefully the well isn’t dry.
I actually favor McCown this week slightly over Keenum. That said, Hundley has the highest ceiling but so few trust him right now for good reason. I like his matchup this week but will go with McCown.
Kearney over Jones but not by much. Nice to see Jones starting to emerge.

December 1, 2017 at 1:41 pm
Hi Jeff,
First time seeking guidance this year… Was a regular last year and it worked out well, so here goes.
14 team non ppr all tds 6 points
passing 1 point every 50yrds
rushing/receiving 1pt every 10 yards.
Lost OBJ and Zeke so team is held together by a thread
Win and I’m in.
Have rolled with Stafford all year. We are penalized -3 for all QB turnovers – leaving me feeling queasy about Stafford against a tough Baltimore D
Keenum and Winston are sitting on waivers. I think Winston is the higher ceiling lower floor play here and I likely need to hit the fences here…
So. Stafford? Winston, Keenum
While I’m asking…
for 1 Flex position
Engram? D Henry?
I’ll be playing
Gordon
C Coleman
C Davis
D Parker
Ertz
Thanks in Advance.
Andy
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:31 pm
Good to have you back.
Keenum has been consistently pretty good and should do okay again. I think Stafford has the highest ever ceiling but his floor is low as well this week. I’d go Keenum
Engram but not excited.
Good luck

Delanie or JuJu in PPR? Leaning Delanie at the moment

Walker for consistency. Has been good and there’s risk this week with JJ
Jerry Ross
December 1, 2017 at 5:30 pm
Have basically clinched a playoff spot but want to finish strong for seeding. Standard non-PPR league and dealing with Carr and no receiving corps but at home against the seemingly hapless GMen VS McCown also at home but I’m still having trouble buying into him…but seems like I need to this week. And have to choose between DThomas with Siemian back at the helm or Tyreek Hill who’s been horribly inconsistent. Thomas had 3 consecutive double digit weeks before last week but only 1 with Siemian but KC’s offense has stunk up the joint of late…..
My second league (also standard non-PPR) I’ve clinched my division and with it a first round bye but still want to abuse the competition the final week of the regular season. Probably a ridiculous question but would there be any reason to start McKinnon over McCaffery? And I am struggling with Rams vs Broncos and Tucker vs Succop….
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:35 pm
I’d start McCown … Carr hasn’t looked good and is down his top two weapons.
I’d still start Hill but lower floor is likely, but higher ceiling. If you want safety, go DT.
I think McKinnon is a sneaky good play this week but not over McCaffrey in my book. Some would though. watch the injury news but if he’s up, I’d roll with McC
Ed Brogdon
December 1, 2017 at 9:31 pm
Hi Jeff,
Have a QB question for two leagues.
Winston or Hundley, or I could pick up Carr but I’m scarred of him for obvious reasons.
I have Wilson & Keenum in my other league, I have Wilson in, but I’m scarred of the Eagles defense and still feel like it would be crazy not to start Wilson. But I’m also waiting to see if both starting CB will miss this week in Atlanta.
What do you think?
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:37 pm
Almost everyone would like Winston over Hundley this week but I’m not one of them. I like Hundley better but I’m in the minority, so you need to know that. Many are saying that Hundley’s production was due to other factors. I don’t care, I liked what I saw and GB is doing a good job of game planning.
I’m staying away from Carr.
I’d start Wilson without a second thought. If he stinks, so be it … I wouldn’t bench him for Keenum even if it ends up being the right call.

PPR + PP1D
Need 4 of these
D. Booker
Alex Collins
Crowell
Duke Johnson
Mckinnon
Riddick
Cobb
Inman
Kyle Rudolph
Also if you don’t mind how would you rank them?
Thanks
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:42 pm
Collins
Duke
McKinnon
Cobb
Rudolph
Crowell
Inman
Booker
Crowell is the scary wildcard here in that he’s going to have a good game here and there and this could be the week, but in PPR I want a known role and touches in both phases. After Collins and Duke it gets very tight so go with your gut if desired..

Full PPR
8 starter IDP
My overperforming team (was sitting in first most of the year) has finally come down to earth and I’m starting a late season slide that may see me miss the playoffs. I need some big points from my wr’s to hang in the matchup this week
Start 2: Baldwin, M. Lee, or C. Davis.
I’m leaning M Lee and C Davis bc they have better matchups. But it could be a shootout in Seattle.
Start 1 DE: B. Graham, T. Flowers (rib injury), Jurrell Casey (matchup against hou giving up most points to DE’s). Leaning graham, but not thrilled about his matchup.
Thanks in Advance.
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:44 pm
Baldwin and Lee – Lee and Davis are VERY close and I think Davis has the higher ceiling but Lee should do well this week. Baldwin is a shoe in for me and I’m going with my starters even if it ends up not being the right call.
Close on DE. Probably Graham but not excited either, but we DEs it’s usually a crap shoot.

Thanks for calling in!
Go with what go you here, McCown. Winston may go off but he hasn’t in a while now and is returning from injury and finding his footing.
RB. Bell Gurley
WR Evans
FX Jeffery
Green is good to go but I don’t like that matchup and last time they played he was basically shut down. Jeffery stringing TDs with 5 in his last four games as I recall. I’d roll with him even though it’s tough to sit Green. that said, Jeffery is outproducing him.
Heny – No question to me.
Part of me wants to play Mack over Church but I’m fine with the better consistency of CHurch. I like the other three choices as well.

16 team dynasty ppr

Leaning towards starting J Howard, D Baldwin, S Shepherd, D Funchess and E Sanders.
Other options are L Miller, D Parker, E Engram and Tyrell Williams

10 team non-PPR with 14 week reg season and 2 week playoffs (4 teams)
Lost two straight which puts me in a must win for the next 2 games to get in the last spot.
RB’s Hunt, Lynch, McCoy (McKissic and Mike Davis are backups)
WR’s – Leaning Cooks, Hill, and Zay Jones, but with KC’s issues lately, considering Westbrook , Richardson, Martavius, or Golladay for either one of the above RB’s or WR’s. Your thoughts?
RSJ or an iffy Olsen?
Thx.
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 10:55 pm
Yikes … Sorry to hear that.
RB: Lynch and McCoy – Hate sitting Hunty but he’s done nothing of late.
WR: I like your plays. Jones scares me but is trending up.
RSJ as Olsen is not expected to suited up.

Re-upped with the Cyber promotion this week and along with the wealth of info that come out here, you Kemosabe are the other reason that brings me back. Eleven teams makes it difficult to ask all of my questions, but your insight, has always been helpful. Thanks from all of us here.
PPR
Putting in Marshawn for Ekeler this week, Burkhead for Paul Richardson, and Doctson came out okay on Thurs,no but having a real issue trying to figure out Demaryius with Siemian throwing again. Would you replace him with any from Westbrook, Parker, C. Coleman, AP this week?
Cinc or Detr DST? (or Panthers on waivers?)
2QB flex PPR
I can plug in Kizer or Geno as my #2 (Flacco ugh is #1) or flex DJax, Westbrook, Kupp, or Parker instead. Need the W to stay in the last playoff spot.
Trade questions since I value your opinion – PPR 1QB dynasty, I have Brees, Stafford, and just picked up Mahomes for a backup QB for next season since I’m out of the playoffs. Would you consider trading Brees to a needy playoff team by tomorrow (he has Alex Smith) for Chris Thompson recovering on IR if your current RB’s were McCoy, Powell, McGuire, Foreman, McKissic, Riddick, and Yeldon?
Thx again.
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 11:03 pm
Thanks for supporting us again! Much appreciated. thanks for the kind words, we try to give the member service that our members expect and so few other sites can touch.
I’d like to replace DT with Parker, but can’t … He’s been awful. Even with a good matchup this week, he’s sitting for me until he shows consistency. Definitely Lynch over Ekeler. this should be a good week for Lynch at least with touches.
DET D for me.
I’d risk Kizer. Gordon is back and while the Chargers have a good pass D, I think Kizer will out produce the others there. Krupp is intriguing as well.
I was inclined to say “no” but you need help at RB and that would make your RBs better. I’m not a huge Thompson fan but he’s looked good. That said, Bree’s is still an every week starter, at least most weeks. In the end, I probably couldn’t pull that trade and would think you could do better?

Can’t believe this one – Stafford, Gabbert, or Kizer in a 2QB league (already paying Keenum).

Stafford although this one is risky and could get me fired. I do like Keenum well enough.

For the Playoffs:
Cam or Rivers
Equal almost everywhere I look, Rivers seems to have a slight edge in overall rankings. I’m going Cam cause he’s been my starter. Any reason to switch to Rivers this week?
Jeff Haverlack
December 3, 2017 at 8:11 am
Sorry Jon .. See response below
Jeff Haverlack
December 2, 2017 at 11:05 pm
I’ll tell ya, I want to start Cam but I think he may be too risky this week. McCaffrey is not 100%, Olsen is down and Cam only has Funchesss. Rivers is risky but I think he’s much safer than Cam this week.
I’d start Rivers myself but when I do that, I usually end up paying for it as Cam goes off. I have a league with the same choice and I’m going Rivers.
James McGuire
December 2, 2017 at 11:32 pm
I need to start 2 players from Joe Flacco, Jay Cutler, Rex Burkhead, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Emmanuel Sanders
It’s super flex and 1 ppr
I already started Prescott at QB so could only take one more of the QBs there.
I was leaning towards Flacco and Jackson but am not sure. Thanks

Flaccid and Burkhead for me … If you can’t stomach starting Flacco …. Which I understand, Djax and Burkhead. Burkhead is always risky but he’s pushed Gillislee to the bench and has been streaking

Which 2 would you start
Keenum, Mariota, TAylor or McCown?
I think I’ll definitely play Keenum. Was leaning towards Mariota as well. It’s a must win game. Thanks

Keenum for sure … The others are toss ups and it’s between Mariota and Taylor for me. Taylor by a nose. McCown is probably the safest play but I love the upside/ceiling of Taylor vs. NE

Would you start Goff or Alex Smith?
Sort for submitting a couple of questions am away and can’t get any research done on the matchups and there’s some difficult decisions this week.
Thanks again

Goff is pretty easy choice for me this week. Smith has been struggling as have the Chiefs. Geoff has been consistently good and I like his potential vs. AZ.
