Week thirteen is going to be remembered for the demolition of the Jets at the hand of the Patriots, but fantasy owners will likely remember it for the return of a very significant player named Sidney Rice.

Considering the opponent, the performance of Tom Brady was pretty incredible. Throwing for 326 yards and four touchdowns against the Jets was more than any fantasy owner could have expected.

Dwayne Bowe had been an absolute beast the past month. In fact, I went on record saying there wasn’t another WR I’d want for the playoffs this year. My reward: no catches against the Broncos. Â Are you serious!?!

I’d be worried if…
I’m hoping the resurgence of LaDainian Tomlinson is going to last into the playoffs. Ever run out of gas and coast into the gas station?
I had Dez Bryant penciled in as a playoff performer for me. A broken fibula ends any hope he overtakes Roy Williams this season.
I expect constant 20-point efforts from Ray Rice. They’re keeping him fresh with McGahee, but he just hasn’t cut loose this season. At least the toughest part of his schedule is over.
I hope for anything from Steve Smith (CAR). Not happening.
I was thinking Mike Goodson could be this year’s fantasy playoff hero. That distinction is likely going to go to Tashard Choice.
I have to play Donovan McNabb at all this year. He has a grand total of one game this year with multiple touchdowns. ONE.
I was hoping Troy Smith was going to be a good dynasty league stash at quarterback. Apparently the 49ers needed to see more from Smith than actually winning football games.
I’m hoping for Heath Miller to break out this year with Big Ben back. Not happening #2.
I plan on riding Chris Johnson to a title. He’s projected to finish with over 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns, but every owner of his wanted much, much more this year.
I was hoping for Keiland Williams or James Davis to take a stranglehold on the Redskins running back job with Ryan Torain out.
I have Ryan Mathews in a dynasty league. This season was a total disaster. Yeah, he was hurt, but still…
I’m holding out hope for Joseph Addai. He’s just not going to get back to 100% here soon. The Colts have some serious decisions to make this offseason.
