2024 Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Profile: Bucky Irving, RB Oregon
One of the keys to accelerating a dynasty rebuild or maintaining title contention each year is finding value and production in the later rounds of rookie drafts. The theory is basic, however finding these assets is difficult - the hit rate on small and slow running backs with day three capital is extremely low. Bucky Irving is an interesting proposition who could be a major value or just another backup in the league.

Irving was very productive over his college career. Despite a slower start at Minnesota, it was wheels up for him after moving to Oregon as he delivered back-to-back 1,000+ yard rushing seasons. He displayed excellent passing usage and most impressively, an improvement in almost every stat year upon year. His usage improved each season, and his final season in 2023 was his strongest - he registered 13 total touchdowns, over 1,500 total yards, and 242 touches (an average of 17.3 per game).
