Read moreEvery year in dynasty fantasy football, we dismiss young players too quickly after a down rookie year. In this article series, I’ll look at three groups of young players: top-tier, mid-tier, and low-tier. To give a general definition of what “young” means, I’ll limit the player pool to those with two or fewer years of NFL experience or, put another way, the 2022 and 2023 rookie classes. Miller had a solid career at TCU.
In his first two seasons, he displayed efficiency in a backup role, competing with Emari Demercado and Zach Evans for touches. But in 2022, he broke out, as he forced Evans to transfer and took the starting role away from the older Demercado. Even though he had 224 carries, he still managed good efficiency at 6.2 YPC and scored 17 rushing touchdowns. Additionally, he displayed some receiving ability, although 16 catches for 116 yards is nothing special.
