Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden was not selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Read moreLast year, I looked at the potential landing spots for supporting cast and IDP players. I wanted to revisit that for this year and discuss the potential impact for fantasy football. Like the last edition of this series, I'll use a recent mock draft from Pro Football Network and an older mock from PFN. I also used a mock from drafttek.com and another from DLF's Shane Hallam with draftcountdown.com. I only wanted to look at the top of the class, so I didn't go beyond the second round, and for the most part, I'll be ignoring cornerbacks.
Let's get introduced to the who's who of this class.
It's early, but there seems to be a clear top two in this year's class: Notre Dame's Joe Alt and Penn State's Olu Fashanu. Neither of them have fallen outside the top ten in any mocks, with Alt landing with the Titans twice, Fashanu landing with the Giants twice, and each with the Bears once.
