As you can see, Dotson had decent success in his first two years before breaking out in his 2020 campaign. Despite the COVID-shortened season, he caught 52 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games, leading an NFL-caliber receiving corps by a wide margin. Indeed, the three players who finished behind him are all currently in the NFL: Parker Washington, Pat Freiermuth, and Brenton Strange. However, Dotson significantly outproduced them all, as none had more than 500 receiving yards.
