Dynasty Rookie Report Card: Zay Flowers and Jalin Hyatt

Each week throughout the 2023 NFL season, I’ll cover two rookies in the Rookie Report Card and will generally write about the most prominent performers from that particular week. I’ll discuss how well he’s lived up to expectations at the NFL level and then grade the player in three categories: performance to date, rookie season potential, and long-term upside.

Zay Flowers, WR BAL

Week 12 stats: Five receptions on eight targets for 25 yards and one touchdown, one carry for 37 yards and one touchdown; 23.2 PPR points, WR6 on the week.

Flowers has had several performances throughout his rookie season worthy of being the headliner in this article, but from a fantasy standpoint, week 12 marks his best performance. Let’s start with a refresher on him as a prospect.

He had an outstanding collegiate career at Boston College, establishing himself as one of the most prolific wide receivers in history. He played four seasons for the Eagles, from 2019 to 2022, and during his time, amassed an impressive collection of records and accolades.
