Former 49ers and Cowboys quarterback Trey Lance has been added to the Saskatchewan Roughriders negotiation list.
Read moreMy name is Jeff Mueller, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and I am here to help guide you through these weekly injuries and provide helpful insight into how bad the injury is and what the expected timeline for recovery is for your key player. The weekly injury roundup will be posted on Wednesdays to discuss injuries that just occurred. Injury: Calf strain, Reinjury
Return to Play: Week 4-5
Fantasy Impact: Burrow announced to reporters that he suffered a reinjury to his right calf in this week’s game. The challenge here is that the Bengals play on Monday night, so we will need to estimate if he will play or not. I have a gut feeling that the Bengals will hold him out for at least 1-2 weeks until his calf is actually back to full health to avoid any further reinjury. Hopefully we hear his expected status by early Sunday morning. Prepare to be without him this week.
Injury: Concussion
Return to Play: Week 3-4
Fantasy Impact: Richardson suffered a concussion after scoring his second rushing touchdown, having his head slam into the turf as he fell backwards. He will now need to go through all stages of the concussion protocol in order to play this next week. Quarterbacks have typically returned within the week protocol stage.
Injury: Left Shoulder/AC
Return to Play: Week 3-4
Fantasy Impact: Pickett suffered a left shoulder injury, likely AC sprain, after getting hit by a defender and landing on his left shoulder. I played the next drive and did not miss any time, but this one might wind up hurting after the game. My bet is he plays, but monitor his status.
