If u have Jacobs as ur RB1…
I would say now is the time to Panic.

The issue with selling Jacobs right now is that you’re selling low. The lowest his value has ever been. His value had already dipped a lot…but after the Drake signing? I’d be surprised if many are able to get RB13 prices for him.

I still think Jackbs will be on the field for 1st and 2nd down, plus most goal line carries. Drake does not help his stock, but it will not torpedo Jacob’s numbers at season’s end. And who knows, maybe the addition of Drake will allow Jacobs to be healthy enough during the season for the fantasy playoffs?

Without a definitive receiving role, the writing was on the wall with this guy so to speak. Without those receptions, he was inconsistent even in 0.5 PPR. I was glad I traded him before the Drake signing, while he still was relatively respected in our league as a top RB.
