A buddy in my league has been running out Brady, Rodgers, zero RB, Adams, Thielen and Kelce for years now. He makes the final four every season.
In my 1 QB, 12 team PPR league, I’ve considered making a run at Adams. We play QB, TE, 3 flex and 2 WR/ TE.
I have lots of high end depth and have run away with the main prize of all play championship and a JRob injury cost me a spot in the championship game.
QB – Josh Allen, Matt Ryan, Zach Wilson
RB – Najee, Ekeler, Zeke, JRob, Rojo
WR – Keenan Allen, Tee Higgins, Jeudy, ARob, Mooney, Landry
TE – Kelce, Goedert
Plus some other depth players.
I’d like to move off of Zeke and while I can and was thinking a target like Davante would be a good idea. Teams in my league seem to overvalue draft picks at this juncture so a player might be my best bet. I’ve already traded away my 1sts for the next 2 years but I hold an early and a mid 2nd for 2022.
Would a Zeke for Davante be a winning trade for me? Who are some other players you might suggest targeting to acquire for Zeke?
Great article. Taking the point further, how do you view the value of former good to great WR’s who are in the same age range with different circumstances? Players like Thielen, OBJ and MT come to mind. Extending it further, would you pursue Calvin Ridley who can be a WR1?
I just acquired DA for two firsts next year with the intent to ride out the final years of his career. I’m adding him as the final piece of a championship core (I was 3rd in points but missed the playoffs by a game this year), coming from my 2019 draft haul of CEH, Dobbins, Justin Jefferson, Chase Young, Diontae Johnson, Brandon Aiyuk, Jordyn Brooks, and Antonio Gibson. I wasn’t able to get fair value for Keenan Allen when I started my re-build, so those two veterans are in ride-or-die status at this point for me.
