Mapletron! One additional bit of upside – with Pittsburgh embracing Matt Canada’s backfield motion and pre-snap movement, Claypool retains a role as that goal-line rushing threat on sweeps and end-arounds. The Steelers totally got away from it over the second half of the season, but Claypool was effective in that role early.

Claypool slipped all the way to me at 2.16 in last year’s rookie draft. I’m extremely excited for his future. Hopefully the Steelers get themselves a good QB so his fantasy career is not a waste.

Great article

Love Claypool and got him at 2.06. Good analysis. A few more thoughts – I think the reason J. Washington played more later in the season is they were managing his snaps as a rookie. Not saying I agree, but I think that might have been the reason. Obviously Big Ben’s arm is shot so who knows what we will get in 2021 but his talent can’t be denied. I saw your note about not relying on sweeps/end-arounds/etc which is sound advice, however, I see Canada as an upgrade because previous OC was terrible! So there is nowhere to go but up.

We shall see.

But in dynasty – Claypool is exactly the kind of player we should all covet. He will continue to develop and ball out.
