Great article! The more I read about him in scouting profiles and evaluations like this, the less I understand why he was so highly rated in the dynasty community. Seems like Sims, Cephus or Tyler Johnson are all better options in that range. Thanks for the great work!

I guess I see no discernible difference in AGG’s college tape and Courtland Sutton’s college tape. In fact, they seem almost identical to me, with the only notable difference is that Sutton’s production came against slightly better talent.

Both have similar size (AGG is bigger which may partially explain the poor agility drills), similar speed (AGG-4.60, CS-4.54), similarly limited route tree in college ball (go routes and jump balls, a few slant routes), both have great hands and catch radius. Sutton did perform better in the agility drills.

How do you feel about Sutton? And did you have similar questions about him coming out of SMU?
