** Please read this completely before posting your first question **
To our knowledge, DLF is the only fantasy site that answers your specific lineup questions all seventeen weeks of the NFL regular season and into the post-season as well. It’s just another feature we offer our valued premium subscribers.
First and foremost, a huge THANK YOU to all our premium members who support what DLF is doing here. Without you, we wouldn’t still be here after 12 years! There’s just far too much work and time involved in running a site like this and your support aids us tremendously by giving us the ability to attract and retain the best dynasty writers in the business. Beyond that, it allows for solid hosting, tools, utilities, development, podcasts and the delivery mechanisms to get all that content to you. Thank you again!
If you’re not a subscriber but use the DLF Forums, or have been interested in what we’re all about, there’s no time like now to give us a try. I can personally guarantee you’ll be hard pressed to find another business, let alone one on the Internet, which cares about their members more and focuses on our value proposition like DLF. That’s a personal commitment, to each of you, which has guided us from day-one! We strive to keep our prices low so everyone can afford one of our membership options and, again, we can’t do what we do without YOU!
2018 Lineup Advice
Each year as we near kick-off off of the new season and begin developing our in-season content plan, one of my fellow DLF co-owners approaches me and asks: “You going to do lineup advice again?” After all, from the first year we started offering “personalized” lineup advice to DLF members each and every week of the NFL season, our membership has grown eight-fold. It’s no longer a simple or quick process.
Quite simply put, I wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s part of our value proposition to each of you and, most importantly, it’s one of the ways I get to know our members individually. Interfacing with each of you is what makes what we’re doing here so special, and we very much hope you see and enjoy that difference. We’re a unicorn in the fantasy space.
But our growing membership base is forcing me to make a few changes to ensure I can keep up with the volume and still provide the quality input you’ve come to expect. Rare are the questions which I can simply “pop off” an answer to. With each one, I research up to seven different variables to arrive at my response and that takes time.
Please see below for my notes concerning this service for 2018. I ask that you read them and hold to them toward helping me help more of you. And, perhaps, helping me to keep my sanity.
Important Notes:
• Please limit your questions to no more than three within each entry! I love helping each of you but it’s not uncommon to receive a question involving an entire team or set of teams. Due to the popularity of this service, I must ask you to limit your questions! If you absolutely must ask more than three, please do so as a separate question/entry.
• Scoring System – Let me know if your league is PPR, non-PPR or if there are any unusual scoring rules that would affect the advice.
• I always like to see what YOU are thinking on your question(s) first. On those “coin-flip” plays, as I call them, knowing which way you are leaning helps me.
• My crystal ball isn’t perfect and I can assure you I “feel” any advice which ends up being incorrect. I do often go back and check my last week’s advice. I’m very proud of my track record and like to think I’m more accurate than the “Magic 8-Ball” approach but, in the end, it’s only a guess. An educated one, but still only a guess. Go easy on me. I’m hard enough on me for both of us.
• I cannot be the coach of your team and all advice is just that: “advice”. Ultimately, the decision is yours to make and you should always be fully accountable to that. Look to me as that little person on your shoulder chiming in with his thoughts.
• Do NOT wait until game-day to ask your questions! Life here at DLF can be very busy as is my life away from DLF. Waiting until game day runs the risk of not getting a response. I always make an attempt to check before kick-off on game day, but I can’t guarantee it. It’s always best to give me at least 24 hours.
• Because of our comment system, it’s VERY easy to miss your response(s) to my advice. I have to physically scroll from top to bottom each time to look for responses. Depending on the number of questions each week, I may miss any response to my advice. When in doubt, make a new entry at the bottom and reference your earlier question if needed.
• It’s not uncommon for me to answer questions out of order due to injury status of a mentioned player, players who play earlier in the week or any number of other reasons. If it looks like I’ve skipped you, I likely have saved you for later until I have more information. It’s also possible your question is too long and I’m prioritizing other more easily answered questions. Brief questions always get priority as I can answer more of them.
• I rarely answer questions after kick-off of the first games on Sunday. I often am away to watch the games and can’t guarantee I will/can check. If I’m available and able, I do try to check in.
• HAVE FUN! I so enjoy interfacing with each of you and look forward to your comments to my advice while following along with how your team is performing. This game has a lot to offer us diehard fans, so don’t let its twists and turns, injuries and/or run of bad luck remove any of the enjoyment. Win or lose, there’s always next week or next year!
Good luck this year. Fortune favors the bold – but there’s no substitute for preparation!

Start 2 RB in PPR: Lesean McCoy, Duke Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Jaylen Samuels
With that in mind, start 2 flex with remaining RB’s from above and/or Anthony Miller
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:04 pm
Oooh …. I’d go Samuels and McCoy but I hate sitting Peterson though he hasn’t really produced outside of one big play … very hit and miss.
The two flex from the remaining would be AP and Duke in that order

Ok, that’s what I had submitted as a starting point while I thought it over, makes me feel like I’m on the right track. Thanks!

No advice needed this week, as I have earned a bye in both leagues! Thanks for the input this season, and I’ll check in next week!

Thx, Jeff. Full-point PPR. 10-team.
I have a bye this week with playoffs weeks 15 and 16. Running thin or need help with WR, TE, and D.
1. Have Falcons D now for hosting Cards week 15. Planning on grabbing Broncos D for week 16. Does that sound good? (Available: LAC, TEN, JAX, DAL, DET, SEA, NO, PHI….)
2. Have Brate at TE. Do you recommend adding a TE for week 15? (Available: Uzomah, Herndon, Arnold, I. Thomas)
3. Have Adams, DJ Moore, and Reynolds. Should add a 4th and/or replace Reynolds after week 15?… (Available: Sutton, Pettis, TreQuan, Funchess/Samuel, even Cobb..)
Thanks,
Nate

December 5, 2018 at 7:08 pm
1. Definitely like the Falcons vs. Cards. I also like the DEN angle vs. OAK
2. Nah, I’d role with Brate for known role. Herndon is interesting but I’d stick with Brate
3. I’d probably go Sutton now over Reynolds though I still think Reynolds has the higher ceiling but lower floor. Sutton will be the main target now.

Hi Jeff, need your advice at 2 positions. Standard league, 12 team dynasty, no flex. I’m the #2 seed, so should have the advantage, but my opponent beat me 2 weeks ago when MacCaffrey had his ridiculous stat game. So, need to dial these two in!
QB: Rivers @ Cin or LJax KC? only considering Lamar if it’s clear he starts. More comfortable with Rivers but nervous he may sit out 4th quarter in a blowout.
Starting [email protected], only options for RB2 are rough: Josh Adams @ Dal or Jordan Howard home vs LA Rams? Really trying to avoid the downside here, which has typically been Howard but vs Dallas and with Sproles how in the mix, tough decision.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:11 pm
I’d go with Rivers … he’s been solid and is relatively safe. LJax is a bit too erratic for me right now.
I’d stick with Adams. He’s still getting the touches. Howard finally got a good workload but I just don’t trust his usage. Adams will grind out tough yardage but has a tough matchup.

Hi Jeff-
One question. Standard league. A. Cooper or S. Ware at flex?
Alex Familant
December 5, 2018 at 12:31 pm
Also, Goff @ Chicago, Lamar Jackson @ KC or Trubisky vs. Rams? I’m leaning Lamar Jackson.
Alex Familant
December 5, 2018 at 4:02 pm
Sorry meant to post that below
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:14 pm
I’d start Goff but would understand if you go Jackson and the better matchup. I just like Goff too much and see him as a safe floor with decent ceiling. Wish he was at home though. LJax in KC is interesting but weather could be interesting
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:12 pm
Ware in standard … good week for him too.
Alex Familant
December 5, 2018 at 11:51 am
Two leagues, both half PPR
1st League:
Corey Davis vs. JAX OR Courtland Sutton @ SF
Austin Ekeler vs. CIN OR Gus Edwards @ KC (or Rashaad Penny vs. MIN only if Carson sits)
2nd League:
Eric Ebron @ Houston OR Jaylen Samuels @ Oakland at TE
I’m leaning Sutton and Ekeler in the first (unless Carson sits in which case I’d start Penny) and leaning Ebron in the second. Which ones would you start?
Alex Familant
December 5, 2018 at 12:31 pm

Sticking with Goff here still
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:17 pm
VERY tough decision here but I’m going with Sutton with Sanders down and Davis up against Ramsey
Edwards
Ebron has been too good to sit and we don’t know Samuels role yet.

December 5, 2018 at 7:22 pm
I’d start Pettis ….. but would still start Jeff Wilson over Pettis
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:22 pm
Rivers easily for me. Solid and safe
Want to start Coutee but that hamstring scares me too much.
Williams????? You don’t mean Wilson do you. If so, I start Wilson. Ellington is the off the radar play but I can’t start him. I’d probably got Smith and pray. Hoping Williams Jr. is Jeff Wilson.

Hey!
PPR League – Round 1 of the playoffs
I have to choose two players to start in my FLEX and WR2 spot:
Josh Adams, Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin, Josh Reynolds, Courtland Sutton
I am leaning Josh Adams in the FLEX and Sutton at WR 2 with the recent news of Manny Sanders tearing his achilles.
What do you think?
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:28 pm
I think you go Tate in PPR for the big game potential. Adams with Sproles back in the mix against Dallas is tough and he won’t get many/any receptions. Sutton is interesting with Sanders out now but I just don’t trust his usage or skillset yet.
I think Sutton can be started in the flex however. I’d sit Adams this week but I don’t begrudge you getting him in due to guaranteed touches.
Tate has a tough matchup too.

First round playoffs. PPR, heavy 1-QB scoring @ 1 pt/10 yards & 6 points for TD. QB is the question: Russell Wilson or Matt Ryan?
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:29 pm
VERY slight edge to Ryan due to matchup. Ryan’s floor is lower however but better ceiling
Leonard Carollo
December 5, 2018 at 12:33 pm
need 2 in a standard 6 pt pass TD league
david moore
MVS
J reynolds
I thomas
D henry
Russ or Matt Ryan
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:31 pm
Reynolds and Henry for me. Many like MVS this week … not me. I won’t be burned again.
Ryan by a slight margin
Leonard Carollo
December 5, 2018 at 12:33 pm
tackle heavy Malcom smith or Jayon brown
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:32 pm
Brown … a lot of running by JAX this week.
N B
December 5, 2018 at 12:59 pm
PPR – 1 RB, 1 WR
Chris Godwin v. Saints
Alshon Jeffery @ Cowboys
Seems Djax will be out, Godwin is the play right?
Tarik Cohen v. Rams
Dalvin Cook @ Seahawks
Not sure on this one; both come with some concern.
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:34 pm
RB Cohen for PPR – Cook is interesting but Cohen in PPR is hard to beat. A lot of ceiling potential
WR Godwin

Hi Jeff. In the semi’s of my standard scoring league and the Manny Sanders injury was a real gut punch. Available players on free agency are Funchess, Zay Jones, Doctson, John Ross, Tre’Quan Smith, David Moore, Calloway, and The Williams receivers from the Chargers. This is the 2nd week of the semi and I own a 19 point lead over my opponent. I need 1 receiver out of this mess to replace Manny. Funchess has good matchup w/Cle. but has not produced in forever. Don’t know who’s turn it is to produce on Chargers. Tre’Quan seems to have great matchup but has done nothing recently. I keep coming up with starting Zay Jones, rolling dice with Tre’Quan, or even throwing Calloway out there. Would appreciate your input. One other question. Do I stick with Bears “D” with Rans coming to town or roll with someone else? Thanks so much.
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:39 pm
Hi Kev
Sanders and Conner this week are brutal. Luckily have shares of neither of them.
I won’t start Funchess under any circumstance. Smith is too streaky but has a high floor. You need safety. Ross WAY too streaky. Moore is the same way. Calloway, Mike Williams, Doctson and Zay are the group to choose from. And standard scoring means you need TDs.
To me, Mike Williams is the play here especially if Ty is down again … but even if not, he’s still your best standard play. Calloway is your spoiler if you want to shoot the moon. Zay is interesting but I don’t trust him enough in an important week. All of these four are about equal so go with your gut. I’d go Mike W.
I’d stick with the Bears. Wish it was a better matchup but Bears are a great scoring D

.5 PPR
2 flex spots b/t godwin, flash, woods, samuel
also TE b/t Graham and Njoku
other leaue also .5ppr
need to fill 2 spots b/t:
MVS, Tyrell Williams, Snead, Dion Lewis, Reynolds
also trying to put in a claim for Samuels or Wilson who would add to that mix above
thx!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:42 pm
Godwin and Woods. I hate sitting Gordon but he’s a one-play receiver these days. One of these days he’s going to score 30+
Njoku
If you can get Wilson it would be Wilson and Lewis. If not, Lewis and Reynolds

Thanks for the advice last week Jeff, I am now a premium member so looking forward to some more of your insight.
half ppr – I have an interesting situation regarding Samuels sitting on my taxi squad.
RB – Cohen
WR – Landry
WR – Golladay
Flex – Ridley
Flex – Drake
Bench – Coleman, Lewis, MVS
Would it be worthwhile to promote Samuels from my taxi squad and drop Dion Lewis to play him as a flex over Ridley or Drake? If I do that, I lose dion lewis for good and need to keep Samuels promoted for good or drop him when Conner comes back.
Much appreciated for any advice!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:44 pm
Awesome Graham … thanks SO MUCH for your support! We can do what we do with your support! Thanks again! In the near future, this advice column and new advice services will all be premium. Just too many to serve and it should be reserved for our premium members.
No … I’d leave Samuels there for one week. I hate doing that as he could have a big game … or he could get 5 touches. We don’t know and those other players are certain to get their touches. It’s tough to sit him given Conner’s injury but there just isn’t enough to go on at this point to bench a known role.

December 5, 2018 at 1:16 pm
Hi Jeff – Thank you again. For the team below, I was able to take a 1-7 team and grab the 6th spot in our league for playoffs. I am matchced up against a difficult team, who has Michael Thomas, Diggs, AB, LF, and Ingram. I need all the help I can get.
1.0 PPR,
Pick 1:
Pat Mahomes (Baltimore); Drew Brees (Bucs). Leaning Mahomes but it is so difficult because of the matchups both have.
Pick 2:
Tevin Coleman @ GBP (leaning here), Allen Robinson vs. Rams (leaning here), Corey Davis vs JAX, Adam Humphries (I am already starting Chris Godwin)
Chris Donikian
December 5, 2018 at 1:16 pm
sorry, in the Pick 2 category, I can also pick from Jalen Richard and Josh Adams.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 4:58 pm
I like Richard over Adams this week in PPR
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:47 pm
Nice job Chris … that’s a great run!
Sounds like you need to go upside then. So roll it out there and scream your head off at every point. Keep it fun …. you’re not expected to go far from that seeding so just put it all out there and hope for the best.
Mahomes – I can’t bench him under ANY circumstance right now and Brees is the only one I’d consider it for. But I want the upside of Mahomes.
Coleman and ARob
We agree. Not wild about the ceiling of both of those last guys but Coleman and ARob can both score. Richard is interesting but I need more. Adams is okay but won’t have a high ceiling and has a tough matchup. Sproles is back.
Good luck
Casey McGrath
December 5, 2018 at 1:47 pm
Hey, thanks for all the work you put in doing this every year.
This is a full PPR league. At RB I need to choose between K Drake or J Adams. I’m leaning Drake as I need to chance the higher ceiling.
At WR I need to start one of DJ Moore, Sutton or Humphries. This one I’m kinda stumped, I guess I lean Moore because of his upside.
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:50 pm
In the final stretch now and I’m ready for a break … it takes a LOT of time but our members are worth it! I love interfacing with our members … you make it all worthwhile.
Drake for ceiling. Adams this week will lose out to Sproles and has a tough matchup. His touches are more guaranteed but Drake can change a game with one run.
Moore for upside. Sutton is interesting now but I’m not a huge fan of his skill set and I think defenses are figuring out that he’s weak off the line of scrimmage. When he gets stronger, he could be a force but not yet for me.
Moore finally looking the part. Three weeks, double digits.

Hey Jeff – My team has now entered Limbo with the injury to E.Sanders & the Hunt ordeal…
Starting – Luck, Michel, Wilson Jr, Julio, Boyd, Edelman, Reed — Have 1 more RB/WR/TE flex spot. 12 team, 27 rostered, 0.5PPR
Choose 1 between: Riddick, D.Henry, TyWilliams, Gallup, MVS, R.Freeman, LaCosse
IF Kerryon is out again, I’m leaning toward Riddick. Otherwise, unsure.
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 7:56 pm
It stinks with Hunt, Conner and Sanders. Hunt got me in a couple of leagues.
It has to be Riddick unless you want to jump the shark and go MVS to see if he finally gets back on track. I’d go for Riddick and pray

Whats up Jeff! In a 10 team PPR, TE premium
Need 3 for my super flex:
– Drake vs NE
– Jeffery Wilson vs DEN
– DJ Moore vs CLE
– ARob vs LAR
Also need 1 TE:
– Engram vs WAS
– Burton vs LAR
– McDonald vs OAK
Im leaning towards Wilson, Moore, Arob and McDonald at TE. Drake is an intriguing play due to the hot hand recently and is likely to catch a lot of passes playing from behind. I like Burton more than Vance but w/o Trubisky he’s been non-existent and Engram has a lingering injury.
Thanks for the help!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 8:06 pm
Hey Zack!
Good luck with finding the one to sit from that group. Moore is starting regardless as is Wilson this week. So we’re down to Arob and Drake. I hate to say this … but I lean Drake for pure ceiling. ARob is safer but his ceiling is limited.
McDonald – TruBEARsky should be bak this week. Burton has been too streaky for me

Here we go! Need some elite advice these last three weeks.

QB: C. Wentz, M. Stafford
WR: S. Watkins, J. Doctson, D. Parker, J. Brown
QB: C. Newton, J. Goff

Flex: Am I starting M. Gordon and K. Johnson this week with their recent injuries? If not, who’s replacing them between C. Carson, T. Smith, J. Reynolds.
Flex: Same question for another league except replace them between D. Pettis, J. Reynolds, R. Freeman, K. Coutee, T. Benjamin.
WR: S. Watkins, D. Pettis
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 8:10 pm
You didn’t mention scoring format.
I don’t expect either to play, especially Melvin. Carson for me.
Pettis – He’s really come on in the past two weeks.
Watkins over Pettis by a hair but only if Watkins says he’s 100% and it’s not likely he will be
Sam
December 5, 2018 at 2:48 pm
QB 2: L. Jackson, J. Goff, M. Mariota
TE: E. Engram, N. Vannett, T. Higbee
Flex 2: C. Davis, S. Watkins, J. Adams, D. Henry, A. Jeffery, D. Pettis
Jeff Haverlack

0.35 PPR Guy again here. (However, I’m not here for league this week as I earned the bye there). Anyways, I kind of have a few too many options in another league. 0.5 PPR and I need a little help with my flex spot.

Mike Williams vs Cin
Jordan Reed vs NYG
Evan Engram @ Was
Thanks for all your help this season!

Hey, Jeff!
Superflex, PPR.
In the Superflex spot should I start Driskel/Rosen? Or someone like Justin Jackson/Josh Doctson/Ian Thomas/Rashaad Penny?
Currently have Jackson in the slot. He looked like the better back to me last week.

Hey Jeff,
I have to play two of the following WRs (0.3 PPR, 6 pts per TD):
Corey Davis vs JAX
Devante Parker vs NE
Quincy Enunwa at BUF
David Moore vs MIN
I also would have the option of promoting Keke Coutee off the taxi squad vs IND if he plays. Right now I am leaning toward Davis and Parker, although they both will face top CBs (Ramsey and Gilmore).
Thanks for the advice!

Sutton for role but I won’t be surprised at all if DT outplays him

Thanks for the help.
1 PPR
Pick two one WR spot one flex spot.

K Johnson
K Coutee
N Hines
D Hamilton
Thanks

No problem John …
WR Westbrook
FX Njoku
I’d love to choose MVS for ceiling but he’s been bad bad the past two weeks.

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your help!
1 PPR
2 Flex Spots to fill
Pick 2
Chubb
Mixon
Pettis
Callaway
Jeffery Wilson
I think Chubb is a no brainer start, just want validation.
Normally Mixon would be as well, but with AJ and Dalton out I’m very hesitant. Of the choices my gut tells me Callaway could go off.
Thanks again.
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 8:30 pm
Sure Daniel
Chubb and Mixon
Not even a second though there though Wilson is intriguing. I can’t start Callaway, Pettis or Wilson over Mixon but if I were going to choose one, it would probably be Wilson. Defenses could key on stopping Mixon so I understand your thinking but I’d still start him. Wilson will get guaranteed touches.

Hi Jeff,
Non-PPR, 3 pt. Bonus >100yds. receiving
Pick 2
Corey Davis (vs. JAX)
DJ Moore (vs. CLE)
Allen Robinson (vs. LAR)
Wondering how much I factor in the match up/game-script/production
Thanks in advance! Great work this season!

Hey Daniel
Moore and ARob. Davis and ARob are a complete toss up. Ask me tomorrow I could flip them.
Thanks Daniel!

December 6, 2018 at 4:30 am
Thanks Jeff,
I also have Antonio Callaway as an option. I’d rather not resort to that level of risk, but both ARob vs. Aqib Talib and Davis vs. Jalen Ramsey scare me. Tight spot.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 6:00 am
Callaway is a difficult play every week. He’ll make me/you look bad one every 4-5 weeks with a big game but he’s just too risky. Ramsey and Talib don’t make for great matchups for sure although Ramsey is scarier in name this year than he is in actual coverage. He’s been so-so
Sam Zitin
December 5, 2018 at 6:07 pm
.5 ppr, need to pick one of
DJ Moore, Baldwin, Godwin, Callaway, Zay Jones
In 1 ppr pick two of
DJ Moore, Sutton, Godwin, Kenyan Drake
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 8:37 pm
Godwin over Moore for me … but this is one that will get me fired. Both with great matchups. DJax is down and Winston loves throwing to Godwin with DJax out. Moore is coming on as well. I’ll stick with Godwin.
I’m sticking with Godwin here too.
Just for transparency, I also popped over and looked at consensus expert selections (I’m not participating this year on that list) and they favor Moore over Godwin 67%/33% so I’m in the minority. I’m not afraid to go against the curve but like to point it out when I do.
Sam Zitin
December 6, 2018 at 7:58 am
Ok, I’m with you on Godwin, is Moore the 2nd pick there or Sutton?
Also, I need to choose between Russell Wilson and Josh Allen………….
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:22 am
Godwin and Moore are 1A and 1B, Sutton is a distant third.
Wilson is an easy call for me over Allen
Sam Zitin
December 6, 2018 at 12:40 pm
Thanks, this helps a lot actually. I normally wouldn’t question Wilson, but it’s Minnesota and the Jets are suspect to QB rushing.

PPR league. Start 2 RB 2WR 1 Flex:
Gurley/Mixon
Diggs/Juju
Sony
I lost Sanders so it made the decision between Mixon and Sony easy. But would you bench either Mixon or Sony for Lamar Miller or Corey Davis in my Flex?
Same league- Stick with Luck or go with Trubisky this week?
Thanks, Jeff!
Jeff Haverlack
December 5, 2018 at 8:39 pm
No, I don’t think I would. Miller scares me too much but I won’t be surprised to see him out produce Sony but I’d leave Sony in. Davis is sitting for me with the RBs available.

2QB .5PPR
Pick 2 QBs-Jameis Winston, Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson
2RBs-Sony Michel, Aaron Jones, Jordan Howard
2WRs-Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Allen Robinson, Courtland Sutton
1DST-LA Chargers or Chicago Bears
Thanks

Winston and Rodgers – Can’t believe I think LJax could actually outplay Rodgers ….. but he could. I’ll stick with Rodgers though, the heat is on
RB: Michel and Jones
WR: Evans and Godwin

Hey, Jeff,
Tough call this week. Full point PPR, non-playoff week.
Need to flex one:
Corey Davis vs Jacksonville
Courtland Sutton at San Francisco
Jared Cook vs Pittsburgh
I throw Cook in, as the injuries to Sanders and Green have thinned out my options.

QB Winston
RB Chubb by a hair
WR Moore and Sutton – Davis is up against Ramsey though not a horrible play

December 5, 2018 at 9:18 pm
Hey Jeff,
PPR League
Pick two – Corey Davis, Kenyan Drake, DJ Moore, Theo Riddick
I originally went Davis and Moore but Drake is creeping on Davis due to Ramsey shadow. What do you think?
Thanks
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 6:04 am
A lot of Corey Davis this week … he’s such a wild card almost every week now, good upside but low floor.
Moore is now an automatic in my mind. Targets and production are finally there. I actually am higher on Drake than most but he’s been inconsistent. Drake is still only getting a 55% snap share though he’s made good on them. Davis has produced well 3 out of the last four. Drake is almost completely dependent on receptions and 6-8 rushes. Drake has the ceiling in PPR but I like Davis a hair more. It’s almost a toss up here.

.5 ppr
2 RBs – starting A. Jones but need a second from Samuels, AP, Ware, Howard. Thanks!

Hi Jeff,
Need two for PPR Flex
Allen Robinson, Tevin Coleman, Justin Jackson
Thoughts?
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 6:06 am
ARob for me but Coleman is the ceiling play. He’s been bad-bad recently and I’ve been really disappointed. ARob will get his targets but will see a lot of Talib … but Talib isn’t what he used to be. It’s a bit of a neutral matchup. I’d stick with ARob …. Coleman hasn’t had a great week since week 9 but his matchup is better.
ARob.

One more- Can’t decide between Goff and Matt Ryan this week. Probably going Goff, but tell me if I’m wrong. Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 6:08 am
They are very close to each other in ranking this week. Ryan with the matchup but Goff with the consistency. GB’s pass defense isn’t horrible but they have struggled vs. quality QBs. I’d go Goff for the consistency though his day will be dependent on how LA handles that defensive front of CHI.

Hi Jeff,
0.5 PPR league.
Ty or white?
Thanks

December 5, 2018 at 11:13 pm
Posted above but missed on samuels & wilson off waivers, but was able to get justin jackson.
i think im going to play jackson over dion lewis as i dont see much upside to lewis right now and im prob the slight underdog in this matchup.
.5ppr
this leaves me with 1 spot with these options:
Reynolds, Hooper, MVS, Tyrell Williams (or could grab Zay Jones or Taylor Gabriel off waivers)
Also planning to play Luck over Cam – what do you think?
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:25 am
Lewis has been very disappointing. I can’t play him in any format right now, especially PPR so I approve of your statement.
I’d go Reynolds for the off-coverage upside.
Cam for me this week but Luck isn’t a terrible play. He’s been consistent but I’m still on Cam

1 point PPR
1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 FLEX
QBs: Ryan, Wentz
RBs: Mixon, Chubb, Michel, Carson, Mack
WRs: OBJ, Allen, Diggs, Davis
TE: Cook, Burton, Herndon
I’m thinking Ryan, Mixon, Chubb, OBJ and Allen, and Cook. Flex is between the health of Diggs and Michels matchup. Mixon is just not getting the ball enough now, do you still trust him here? Or should I consider Michel in his spot and flex Diggs?
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:26 am
QB: Ryan
RB: Mixon, Cubb
WR: OBJ, Allen
TE: Cook
FX: Diggs
Mixon has been a bit of a dud and I’m starting to lose faith but staying on him. I trust Michel less at this point with Burkhead back. Flex Diggs as long as he’s up.
Vendetta .
December 6, 2018 at 12:28 am
Jeff, you’re about to be sick of me the next couple of weeks. Made the playoffs in 4 of my 5 leagues, got byes in 3 of ’em and hoping to send one more team to the Semi’s to join them.
I need one Flex from the following. Non-PPR.
Kenyan Drake
Larry Fitzgerald
Josh Reynolds
Antonio Callaway
Jeff Wilson (just got him on waivers tonight)
I’m a very slight favorite (though playing against Gurley doesn’t feel like it) and leaning towards Wilson. I feel like it’s hard to trust Drake’s usage in an elimination game. Fitz is a concern with Kirk out, worried about Slay’s coverage now that there’s one less threat to worry about. Feel like Reynolds is sneaky but Wilson might get the volume.
…and because every point counts.
Deciding between Gostkowski and Boswell at Kicker. Leaning Gostkowski but Miami typically plays the Pats tough at home and Oakland is bleeding points.
Finally, Bears or Titans D. I’m on the fence here, we get points based on yards / points allowed in addition to the usual sacks, turnovers etc. — give up too many of either and you could get negatives. I know the Titans have the better matchup but I feel like I need to stick with the team I’ve been rolling with all year (start your studs, right?) The Rams O is scary though but LA might be just as worried about the Bears D and they have to travel.
Decisions, decisions. Thanks Jeff!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:30 am
I never get sick of our Premium members … you are Premium, right? LOL. Truth be told, I’m not sick of anyone that calls DLF home.
Congrats on your great success, awesome performance. Don’t disagree with any of your thoughts.
Gostkowski but every week is a toss up with kickers. The only ones I seem to really like are Butker and Greg the Leg. But even then, sometimes it’s just Dudsville.
I’d stick with the Bears, they’ve been too good but I hear what you’re saying about the Titans matchup. I’d still stick with the Bears otherwise I don’t sleep if I come off them and for the Titans and then the Bears go off, costing me a game. I’d rather lose with my studs in.
Vendetta .
December 6, 2018 at 10:26 am
Haha, yes I’m Premium.
Pretty much what I was thinking too, Jeff. Thanks for the confirmation.

Jeff, standard scoring, non ppr.
Spencer Ware or Corey Davis?

Ware in standard scoring, not even really a question for me. Not sexy but it’s the right call

December 6, 2018 at 1:44 am
Hey Jeff,
QB question for you in one of my leagues non-PPR – I’ve been streaming QB and TE all year:
Jackson vs Chiefs (worried he gets benched in this one)
Allen vs Jets (freshly picked up)
Mariota vs Jags (worried about the D)
TE – I’m going with Graham, but could pick up Brate, Herndon or Everett…?
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:32 am
I’d go Jackson … I think he’s good for one more week at least. Allen has been great the past couple of weeks though but I’d hate to lose with him at the helm as he regresses. Mariota … I just don’t trust him.
TE: I’d probably play Brate over Graham but it’s a bit of a toss-up here.

December 6, 2018 at 4:39 am
Hey Jeff, back again with my Flex position conundrum. 10 team 10 keeper ppr need one of these: Tyler Boyd, Courtland Sutton, DJ Moore and lets throw Tevin Coleman and Jaylen Samuels into the mix. I’m leaning Boyd here as Cincy should be in catch up mode for most of the game.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:33 am
It’s between Moore and Boyd for me. The off QB play of Driskel combined with no AJG makes lean to Moore. Samuels is the risk on play if you want to shoot for the moon but too risky for me. Moore has been a target hog and is producing. Ride the hot hand … but it’s close and Boyd isn’t a terrible call.
Jesse Boeder
December 6, 2018 at 5:09 am
PPR plus special teams points.
2 of: Chris Godwin, Curtis Samuel, Tyler Boyd, Justin Jackson, Corey Davis. I’m leaning Godwin and Jackson.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:46 am
Godwin and Boyd for me but Jackson’s ceiling is higher than Boyd so I don’t disapprove of you taking Jackson there. I just trust the targets and role of Boyd over Jackson.
Steve Taylor
December 6, 2018 at 5:17 am
Hi Jeff,
Standard non PPR.
It’s the first week of the play offs and I have a close match up.
Who would you choose for the Flex position, between Edelman and Justin Jackson? If Gordon plays then I think Edelman, but if he doesn’t……. Edelman is the steady pick but Jackson may have a higher ceiling…… !
Thanks for all your help!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 8:50 am
Edelman without a second thought. Jackson’s ceiling is decent, no doubt about that and in non-ppr there’s reason to start him but in the playoffs I need known role and have to trust who I have on the field and I can’t start jackson over Edelman, even if Jackson ends up being the right call, I need to be confident in the choice, especially if it’s close. Edelman for me but nothing wrong with going with your gut here.

.5 ppr
Calvin Ridley or Corey Davis?
Thanks a ton!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:00 am
Davis pretty easily for me here though Ridley could have that big game which he does about every 5 games. Davis is playing tonight and could draw Ramsey which could keep him in check but he’s trending well, is the WR1 and Ramsey has only been so-so this year.

League 2
2 RB: Gio Bernard, Hyde, Marlon Mack, McCoy, Chris Thompson
Thanks !
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:02 am

Mack and McCoy for me but Mack scares me and I Thompson is VERY close.

December 6, 2018 at 7:05 am
Which 2 would you start from Yeldon, Landry and Tevin Coleman
PPR
Thanks

December 6, 2018 at 9:03 am
Sticking with Landry … I think they’ll find ways to get him the ball. Coleman has been too bad of late and Yeldon will suffer with Fournette back.

December 6, 2018 at 7:21 am
Hey Jeff,
My lineup going into playoffs is as follows (PPR), and it’d be great to have you input to see if you’d swap it up with some of these bench players.
QB – Wentz
WR – Thielen, Julio, Antonio B.
RB – Kenyan D, Adrian P.
TE – Nick Vannett.
Flex – Sterling Shepard, Demaryius Thomas, Jordan Howard.
Potential
QB – Josh Allen (Should I try this out in playoffs?, I’m in a 6/pass, -4/interception however)
Derek Carr (Had a nice game against KC maybe save him for the bengals if i get that far)
WR – Kenny Stills (is he back?),
Curtis Samuel (seems like a good matchup and had a nice target share last week),
Tyrell Williams (vs CIN)
Nelson Agholor (Tate and Ertz seem to take all the looks)
RB – Jalen Richard, Gio Bernard, Theo Riddick (All passing down backs i feel like i’m tossing the coin when i play them)
(Unfortunately lost Conner this week)
TE – Gesicki, Ed Dickson. (I’m pretty weak here after losing OJ and Olsen.)
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:06 am
Hey Alistair
QB: No, I wouldn’t risk it though Allen is starting to show
WR: Nope … you’ve made solid choices and there are NO questions about them
RB: I’m okay with these two selections but will address one in the flex
TE: I have the same issue at TE. Vannett is your best bet but nothing better out there?
FX: I’m good with your flex choices mostly but would go with Richard over Howard. Howard’s floor is lower in my opinion and his ceiling is about the same as Richard in PPR. I think Richard is safe for 10 points on the floor and would start him.
Kenneth Burns
December 6, 2018 at 7:56 am

Robert Woods LAR – WR
Tyler Boyd Cin – WR
Chris Godwin TB – WR
Tre’Quan Smith NO – WR
Antonio Callaway Cle – WR
Dante Pettis SF – WR
Alvin Kamara NO – RB
Joe Mixon Cin – RB
Jaylen Samuels Pit – RB,TE
George Kittle SF – TE
thanks in advance.

December 6, 2018 at 8:30 am
Round 1 let’s do this.
1st Team (.5 PPR) has a Thursday night implication. I’ll add another comment later with the 2nd team as the injury reports shake out.
1 WR: Corey Davis, Callaway, Mike Willams, Watkins, or Zay Jones (I’ve got Callaway in there right now paired with DJ Moore and Boyd, worried the bottom could fall out for the Titans tonight and Davis has a poor history against the Jags, Callaway a big play threat right now, though Jones is intriguing against NY).
1 RB: Mixon, Carson, Coleman, Henry (Right now I have Mixon just due to volume but I feel like the Bengals are going to go down early and cause a lot of touches to Gio, Other option is Carson)
1 Flex: Any of the above (I have Carson, Other thought was Corey Davis due to upside?)
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:12 am
WR: I’d stick with Davis myself but it’s SO close that I’d trust your gut. I’m not high on Callaway but he’s got that ceiling every week. Zay has been looking great but I don’t trust him yet. If Ty Williams is out, Mike Williams would be my play but I can’t make that call at this point so would roll with Davis. Davis is only now coming on so I don’t worry too much about past performance and Ramsey isn’t the corner he was last year.
RB: Mixon – He’s not producing well but volume touches will be there and that’s enough for me. Carson is interesting but it’s a three headed hydra of competition. No thanks with Mixon available.
FX: Williams if Ty Williams is down and Callaway if not.
Illegal Formation
December 6, 2018 at 8:44 am
Regular PPR scoring.
Dalvin Cook or Tyler Boyd.
I’m leaning Cook for 2 reasons.
1. Boyd is playing with a back up and no AJ Green to take coverage away.
2. Cook scored a decent amount of points on limited touches last week and I think his touches go up this week.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:13 am
Cook.
I agree with both assessments.
Ash Lowe
December 6, 2018 at 9:08 am
I know Mahomes is the QB1 but this is by far the beat pass def he has faced all year. Worried about him and Tyreek… follow the “start yoir studs” rule or is there any scenario you would bench Mahomes in favor of Big Ben/Baker or Landry/DJ Moore over Tyreek?
I know it only takes one big play for Mahomes/Tyreek and while he posted a dud last week he was two catches away from a monster performance… just worried about the Balt defense
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:19 am
I couldn’t sit Mahomes this week unless it was for Brees. Brees is the only one I’d risk sitting Mahomes for. My hope is that Mahomes is out of the pocket more this week and can pile up rushing yards but not having Hunt in the backfield could be an issue this week. But I’d still start Mahomes … and am. I wouldn’t sleep if Mahomes went off for 40 on my bench and I lost. I’d rather lose starting who got me to the playoffs.
Landry? No. DJ Moore is interesting and is trending. He could be a sexy start over Hill but I wouldn’t do it. Hill has gotten over the top of every defense, even if they haven’t always connected. It just takes one play for 15 points. I’ll keep Hill in with Mahomes knowing that the combination does have a dark side this week.
James Richardson
December 6, 2018 at 9:16 am
I only have 1 Thursday night dilemma. Do I play Corey Davis? in a half PPR, I can play either 3 or 4 WRs. I also have Keenan Allen, Josh Gordon, Chris Godwin, Antonio Calloway, and Allen Robinson. Should I play Davis in a 3 or4 WR group or sit him on the bench given my other WR options? Thanks.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 9:19 am
I’d sit him for the other options. You’re deep enough to not risk the Ramsey matchup and the .5 PPR format.
Travis Billiter
December 6, 2018 at 9:38 am
Hey Jeff. Glad playoffs started this week because Tarek Cohen was benched any and everywhere I had him. Any shot you’d plug him into a RB spot of a half PPR league over Joe Mixon? I’m still leaning toward Mixon, but truth be told I can’t shake Cohen as a great play in a matchup against the Rams where the losing team may score 30+ points.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 11:51 am
I’m actually with you on Cohen … he’s risky but I think in PPR his ceiling is higher than Mixon’s this week.

December 6, 2018 at 9:42 am
Hey Jeff,
Secured the #4 seed in playoffs. Win or go home time!
Couple options are for *TNF* tonight.
RB (Starting Aaron Jones and Michel already). Choose 1:
-Crowell @ BUF
-Drake vs NE
-Mack @ HOU (gotta sit him right? Houston’s run D is so good)
WR (Starting Thielen and Fitz) Choose 1:
-Zay Jones vs NYJ
-Sterling Shepard @ WAS
-Tre’Quan @ TB (just heard gonna be rain/wind…I HATE Florida games…seems like there is always something weird there at the worst possible moment).
TE
-Burton vs LAR
-Herndon vs BUF
-Rudolph @ SEA
-Jonnu vs JAX (TNF)
DE (Starting Aaron Donald)
-Golden vs DET
-Yannick @ TEN
-Sheard @ HOU
LB (Starting Martinez, Van Noy, Hodges). Choose 1:
-Bradham @ DAL
-Jayon Brown vs JAX (*TNF*)
-Nick Vigil @ LAC
-Fred Warner vs DEN (leaning this direction)
Thanks as always Jeff!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 11:56 am
Congrats
Drake – He’s a risky start with a high ceiling and a low floor but he’s the choice here
Shepard – Never know what he’s going to do but with OBJ coming on a bit, he should see his targets
Rudolph – Quietly productive
Yannick – But this is truly a three sided coin flip
Brown – Should see a ton of action with JAX running a lot
Sam
December 6, 2018 at 9:46 am
Start 2 QB’s: L. Jackson, J. Goff, M. Mariota (You don’t think Chicago will shut down Goff?)
Start 2 QB’s: J. Winston, A. Luck, C. Newton (Can you sit Luck?)
Start 2 QB’s: L. Jackson, T. Brady, J. Goff
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 11:57 am
Goff – They could but I’m not playing that game with LJax. Goff has so many weapons and the coach to utilize them. I think you’ll see a lot of Gurley out of the backfield. Jackson is fine as the QB2
Winston and Newton – I’m sitting Luck this week but it is tough, he’s been great.
Brady and Goff – Same thing as above.

Jeff,
Some more Corey Davis for you…
Full PPR, start one
Tevin Coleman or Corey Davis
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 11:58 am
Full PPR has me going to the trend of Davis. Coleman just isn’t producing and even with the so-so matchup vs. Ramsey, I’ll still take Davis.

December 6, 2018 at 10:03 am
Hey Jeff,
Lost to my brother by small amount last week, but not through poor advice or anything. Just Pat Mahomes and Todd Gurley on the other team. Rivers and Wilson funny enough ended up tied in points last week for my leageus scoring. Here goes my couple questions for this week
PPR
WR: D.J. Moore, Sutton? I could use some upside in my lineup, so I am leaning D.J. Moore but maybe he doesn’t see too much and I should go Sutton instead?
Different league, also PPR
Flex: Josh Adams or Golladay? I have some other big hitters in this lineup, so really looking for the best floor, which I think is Golladay??? Not really sure Adams does much against Dallas.
Thanks again!
Troy

You freaked me out there … as I was worried I said Sutton somewhere else above. LOL. It can happen on coin flip plays but I like Moore markedly better than Sutton this week.
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 12:00 pm
I have Mahomes and Gurley in my main league and those two can keep you in games or win them outright. Both Wilson and Rivers are doing well.
Moore – Pure upside. I don’t see Sutton having a big week. Moore probably has the lower floor but not by much and his ceiling is so much higher.
Golladay – For target share though I think his ceiling isn’t overly high. Neither is Adams and Adams’ floor is lower in my opinion this week with Sproles back.

PPR League and I have no idea where to go with the following:
Need to pick 1 RB, 1 FLEX, and 1 WR from the group below:
Austin Ekeler, Jaylen Samuels, Keryon Johnson (if healthy which is unlikely), James White, Sammy Watkins (if healthy), Dede Westbrook, Sterling Shepard, MVS, John Ross, Daesean Hamilton
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 12:03 pm
RB White
WR Shepard
FX Samuels
the only choice for me is Watkins over Shepard but I don’t like injury return games for WRs. I’d consider it this week in a big matchup but would prefer the safety of shepard over the upside of Watkins.

.25 PPR – Start 3 WR
Keenan Allen is my sure start. I need to select two of the following:
Cooks @ Chicago
Sutton @ SF
Boyd @ Chargers
Lockett vs. Minnesota
Leaning Cooks and Sutton right now but thinking Boyd might be a nice play as he’ll get many targets.
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 6, 2018 at 12:08 pm
Cooks for certain here though it’s a risky matchup. Next is difficult but I’m not a big Sutton fan and especially this week though he should get targets. I expect DEN to roll coverage to him to bracket Sutton and force Hamilton and Patrick to step up. Boyd could have the same issue.
I like Locket this week and he’s been trending. He’s risky as it takes that one big pass each week but he’s been consistent. If you don’t want to risk Lockett, Sutton and Boyd are equally ranked and I prefer Boyd by the slightest of margins.

Hi Jeff,
Love this space. First time question.
QB start Ryan, Brady or Trubisky? Win and I am in, last week Matty Ice nearly killed me.
Thank you for all your great advice.

Thanks Robert. It will likely be limited to only Premium subscribers starting next year so hopefully you are supporting us as a premium member.
I can’t sit Brady though he’s not what he was. Ryan should be a good play this week but his downside every week is a cause for concern, you just never know when he’s going to whip out a clunker. At least Brady’s downside is about 16-18 points or so.
Brady for me against the Dolphins

Hi Jeff, big week man – let’s get to it:
1. 1/2 PPR, I need to pick 2 out of Diggs, Dalvin Cook, Fournette, Samuel, Sutton and DJ Moore. Leaning Fournette/Diggs but could see any one of them in my lineup.
2. 6 points per passing TD, Matt Ryan vs GB or Deshaun Watson vs IND?
3. 6 points per passing TD, Russell Wilson vs MIN or Andrew Luck vs HOU?
4. PPR, I need to pick one out of Mixon, Aaron Jones and Chubb. Leaning Chubb but could go any way here…
Thanks again!

December 6, 2018 at 12:15 pm
Hey Ryan, it certainly is and some tough matchups and injuries are going to make for a very wild week 14.
1. At .5 PPR I have to go Cook and Fournette but Diggs is a very close #3 if you want to stick with him.
2. Watson has been very up and down, not that Ryan hasn’t been ugly at times too. matchup is pretty close on this one. Could go either way but I’ll take Watson at home weather controlled.
3. Wilson is the easy choice for me here
4. Chubb clearly for me.
good luck

Hey Jeff
Need help in another league that I forgot to mention earlier (my bad) Full PPR. 2 bonus for 100+ rushing
Tevin Coleman vs GB
Josh Adams vs DAL

Yikes …. Coleman though I’ve been very disappointed. The PPR aspect helps lift up his potential a bit over Adams

Back for 1 more question. 1.0 point single QB PPR
Matt Ryan or Tom Brady this week?
Ito Smith or Golden Tate this week (I am also playing Tevin Coleman)?
Thanks!

December 6, 2018 at 5:04 pm
Most are on Ryan this week and I tell you that because I prefer Brady and his consistently high floor. Ryan has the higher ceiling but is playing in GB. I’ll take Brady at Miami but I’m in the minority on this one. Just like to have full transparency for you so you know when I’m against the curve.

Need to start a QB…
Carson Wentz @ Dallas
Dak Prescott vs Philly
Josh Allen vs Jets
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 7, 2018 at 1:47 am
Slight edge to Dak vs. a middling PHI secondary and he’s at home. Wentz hasn’t put up more than 20 over the last three weeks though Tate is starting to get integrated. The tough Dallas secondary keeps him behind Dak this week.
I like what Allen has done recently though it seems somewhat artificial due to his rushing … but trending up.

That was my take as well… but getting Sproles back should help some numbers for Wentz.

Full PPR
Need to start 1 RB
Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Adrian Peterson or Justin Jackson.
Thanks
Jeff Haverlack
December 7, 2018 at 1:49 am
Chubb though his matchup with Carolina isn’t the best … they have given up TDs in 5 of their last 6 and Chubb’s usage has been great until he ran into HOU. I like him at home this week over the others. Jackson is interesting and could be the spoiler. Burkhead back muddies the water for Michel a bit.

Thank you in advance, 1 ppr I can play 3 RB’s and 3 WR’s or 2 RB’s and 4 WR’s
I’ve already set Kamara, Lindsay at RB and Odell, JuJu at WR my other options for the 2 spots are…
RB-Chubb, Ingram, J Wilson (SF)
WR-Tate, Landry, Boyd
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 6:11 am
Chubb
In PPR, it’s Landry for me but Tate is finally starting to find a groove in Philly. But he’s up against a tough Dallas secondary. In a vacuum and if not for the matchup, I’d start Tate but Landry is the safer play
Mark D'Angelo
December 7, 2018 at 6:20 am
Alright, Team 2. 0.5 PPR.
I currently have OBJ, Diggs, and Mixon in 3 of the skill spots.
1 need 1 flex: Gus Edwards, Jeff Wilson, DT, Scantling, Watkins. Njoku (I have Wilson right now due to PPR and his usage in the receiving game, I feel like Edwards could be game scripted out in a hurry and Wilson will get play no matter what happens in the game. Crazy to think I’m starting a guy I had never heard of three weeks ago in Round 1 of the fantasy playoffs :D)
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack

12 team 1pt. PPR (QB TD – 4pt, all other 6pt)
QB – Winston vs NOS or Luck @ HOU. Have Winston penciled in but Luck destroyed the Texans earlier this season.
FLEX – Need one of K Golladay @ ARI, J Gordon @ MIA, DJ Moore @ CLE or G Edwards @ KC. Leaning Golladay cause of volume but Peterson will be a tough match up.
TE – Engram @ WSH or I Thomas @ CLE. Trying to getting Njoku who I would think is the better play.
At WR going with D Adams and Cooper.
At RB I have Ekeler and Michel going with M Gordon and K Johnson riding the bench w injuries.
Thanks in advance
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 6:23 am
Very close here but I’d go with Winston and he’s at home. Luck could have another great game but it would be on the road and the Texans have now seen him this year and Hilton is banged up
Your flex play is a toss up unfortunately. Could be either of Gordon, Golladay or Moore. Golladay is the safest for volume Gordon may be the safest for floor and Moore is your high ceiling play. So, full disclosure on this one as I checked expert consensus rankings as well while researching this one (I’m not contributing this year to them) and they like Gordon over Golladay but it’s very close … and Moore only 5%. Golladay’s matchup favors Peterson while Gordon has a very favorable CB matchup. Moore’s team matchup is the best but vs. Ward slightly favors Ward. So, will full transparency here knowing that I’m in the BIG minority, I like Moore this week and Golladay is last on my list. Consensus expert rankings shows Gordon over Golladay. If I didn’t start Moore, I’d risk starting Gordon.
Njoku if you can, otherwise you probably have to go with Thomas
Good luck

Jeff,
Keep it up with the great advice! I’m in the Playoffs in all 3 of my leagues due in large part to DLF!
Start 3 (Full PPR): Chubb, Michel, Ware, Samuels
Start 1 (1/2 PPR): Drake, Mack
Thanks!

December 8, 2018 at 6:26 am
Awesome Mark … we’re glad to be along for the ride!
This is tough between Samuels and Ware. Expert consenus favors Samuels over Ware 58/42. I tend to agree as I think Samuels is going to factor in both phases of the game while Ware will be mostly on early downs. I’ll take the risk of not knowing Samuels’ role for the upside he carries over Ware.

PPR. Please choose from the following. First round of playoffs. Right now I am rolling with: Watson, Barkley, Evans, Jones, Edelman, Boyd
Qb: choose 1
Luck @ Hou
Watson v Indy
Rb: choose 1
Barkley @ Was
Connor (out)
Ekeler v Cin
Wr: choose 3
Hilton @ Hou
Golladay @ Ari
Evans v NO
Boyd v LAC
Edelman @ Mia
Zay Jones v NYJ
Wr/Rb: choose 1
Any of the choices above that weren’t picked already.
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 6:29 am
QB: Toss up. Luck has found success vs. HOU but is IN HOU this week. Watson had his second best game vs. IND playing in their house. I favor Watson by the slightest of margins over Luck though Luck has the higher floor.
RB: Barkley. I don’t get cute during the later weeks or usually for that matter … not when Barkley has been so good.
WR: Evans, Edelman and Hilton if he plays. Golladay if Hilton doesn’t. Not high on Golladay this week. Golladay is the only target there and has a tough matchup this week.

Larry Fitz

December 8, 2018 at 6:38 am
RB: Very tough call at a tough time to have to make it. The safest play is Ingram but I’m playing Samuels here. He’s not as safe as we don’t know his role or how RIdley will factor. Drake has the upside but I can’t play him with the other choices here. I play Samuels but it’s a risky proposition as you are chasing the ceiling. If you want to keep it safer for known role, it’s Ingram. I checked consensus rankings for the week and Ingram is the play at 65%.
FX: same league? Meaning that if I’m playing Samuels above I can’t play him again? If so, then I like Ingram and Fitzgerald. Jackson is the spoiler here as we just don’t know how he’ll be used and he’s got a great ceiling. Courtland Sutton is going to receive a lot of double teams this week and ARob is the odd man out here. The real choice for me is between the ceiling of Jackson to the safety of targets for Fitz.
Getting the correct two (or three) here is going to be very very difficult. If you are a big underdog in the game, go for the risk-reward ceiling plays of Samuels, Jackson, Ingram. If you want to be safer, I’d go Samuels, Ingram and Fitz

Hi Jeff,
Two questions: PPR, pick QB between J. Goff and B. Mayfield, and one RB between J. Mixon and D. Cook.
Thanks!
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 6:39 am
Tough week for Goff but I still play him over Mayfield … I have him going in a playoff game and I’m not excited but I can’t allow him to sit over a QB like Mayfield. Cook for me over Mixon this week.

Full PPR w TE Premium (1.5 PPR) Great (and lucky) year in playoffs in 5 of 5 leagues w/ 2 byes. Few tough calls below:
Need to start 2 of Sutton, C Ridley, Callaway, and John Brown. I’m leaning Sutton/Ridley.
Need to start 1 of Gus Edwards or Stevan Ridley. Leaning Gus but worried about game script.
Need to start 2 of Pettis, Njoku, Jeffery, Funchess, and Ellington. I’m leaning Pettis/Njoku.
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 8:48 am
Awesome performance Ben! Nice job.
Sutton and Ridley. Callaway is the spoiler but is too inconsistent. Truth be told Sutton and Ridley aren’t much better but I trust their roles.
Gus clearly
Pettis and Njoku – This is one of the weeks I will start Njoku over Jeffery yet it’s still almost even.

Thanks Jeff for all that your doing first time question here as well. Few tough ones this week.
1. Lamar Jackson or Kirk Cousins in a tougher match up? I’ve started Cousins every week this year and he does well more than not but this week has me nervous.
2. Need a RB and Flex between Coleman, Ware, Mack, and Carson and am having a devil of a time deciding as all 4 are pretty close. (DJ is RB1)
3. Need a WR2 out of Baldwin, Sheppard, Moore, and Watkins. None are spectacular options but I feel there is someone in there who’s up for a big performance this week.

December 7, 2018 at 11:40 am
David Moore by the way. Thanks again

December 8, 2018 at 9:08 am
Welcome Emerson …. and I love interacting with our readers/members. This is normally a Premium service and will again soon (And I’ll be expanding it into the off-season as well) so hopefully you are supporting DLF as a premium member.
1. I think you can start Jackson here. It is risky but I’d do the same in the matchup with KC
2. They are very close and in times like that, go for known role into producton and let the chips fall where they may. Carson and Ware would be my choice here. Carson has still been seeing snap % in the 50s and is at home. He’s trending better than Coleman. You didn’t say if it was PPR or not an, if so, you can start Coleman over Ware but I’d still lean Ware for the offensive upside KC has.
3. Watkins is out for good and Baldwin just doesn’t carry the upside. I start Shepard here as the off-target receiver that has upside each week across from OBJ

Typical PPR league, Playoff time
The team I’m playing has scored the 3rd most points in our league the past 4 weeks (I’m 4th), so I’m obviously looking to go for for high-ceiling production.
Please pick 2:
Mark Ingram @ TB
Kenny Golladay @ ARI
Adam Humphries vs NO
I’m currently leaning 1) Golladay, 2A) Ingram 2B) Humphries. Ingram hasn’t put up stats the past 2 weeks, but put up gaudy numbers in Wk 10 & 11 & the Bucs defense is FF-friendly.
But I would hate to keep Humprhies on the bench. The past 2 weeks he’s been the 12th best WR in FF. But saying the following doesn’t come
natural: “I’ll start Adam Humphries over Mark Ingram.”
Please pick 1:
Rob Gronkowski @ MIA
Austin Hooper @ GB
Miami has given up the 11st most points to TEs the past 4 weeks while the Packers have given up the 26th most. I’m leaning towards Gronk even though he’s a shell of his former self & Hooper has done well as of late.
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 9:19 am
It would seem there isn’t that much of a gap between third and fourth …. that can turn very quickly.
Humphries and Golladay for me if you’re playing for upside. If you want a bit of safety, swap out Golladay for Ingram for guaranteed touches. I HATE starting Humphries but he’s put up north of 15 points in 6 of the last 7 games.
I can’t sit Gronk but understand if you prefer to start Hooper. But Gronk, to me, has the highest upside here.
Joe Hansen
December 7, 2018 at 1:11 pm
Non-PPR league, Win this to go to the playoffs
Please pick 2:
Joe Mixon @LAC, David Johnson VS DET, Dalvin Cook @ SEA
My concern is that Joe Mixon is questionable and on a bad team, but he’s a great RB
Please pick 1:
Kenny Golladay @ ARI, Cortland Sutton @ SF, DJ Moore @ CLE
Personally, I believe Golladay is the most talented, although Patrick Peterson creates a tough matchup
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 9:26 am
Tough call here: DJ is an auto start this week due to matchup. Mixon’s role is a bit better than Cook’s and I prefer his matchup. DJ and Mixon
I’d start Moore this week. His targets have been very consistent. Golladay is easily the most talented but Stafford is banged up and they have no one else on offense to take double teams away. I don’t see Golladay scoring more than 13. Moores floor is somewhere around 8 in my mind this week but his ceiling is in the 20s.

You’ve gotta go upside with Jackson at this point. AP’s numbers have been inflated by plays difficult to be consistent with and Thompson is back to create more of a committee.

Agh left off two. I have ware and Jeff Wilson too. Pretty confident in ware though. Thoughts?
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 9:34 am
Wilson and and Godwin for me simply for role. Ware is a decent start and close to Wilson but he’ll come out on passing plays now in all likelihood. Wilson should get a ton of touches and Godwin performs well with DJax out. Ware vs. BAL doesn’t intrigue me enough given the other options.
Jeff Gordon
December 7, 2018 at 5:08 pm
Hey Jeff haven’t checked in once this season (have many times in past seasons) so you know I’m torn. I need one RB PPR out of Ware, Coleman, and Mack.
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 9:53 am
Hey Jeff, I’m always here whether every week or once a year.
It’s so close here. Coleman has the upside role but has been a poor play and I can’t risk his trend during a critical week. Mack is safe for roll but I’m starting. I don’t like the matchup of Ware but in that offense and the Ravens seeking to stop the passing attack, Ware has a chance for good numbers.
Ware.

Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 9:55 am
Cooper and Chubb for me. Every time I sit Diggs he goes off but it’s not that close to me here and Diggs is a bit beat up. You don’t have a bad choice here so go with your gut. Chubb is automatic.

Superflex with WR 1.0 ppr; TE 1.5 ppr
Can start 2 TEs
Would you start both Burton and MacDonald, or would you plug in high ceiling Curtis Samuel in for one of those TEs? If so, which one.
I saw earlier advice you opted for Burton over Vance Mc, but Burton has been shaky lately including only 1 target last week. Very important (as if all lineups aren’t this week) because I only have 1 QB available. For starting WRs I have Edelman, Hopkins, and Hilton–with his “Q” tag.
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 9:57 am
I actually advised McDonald over Burton due to Burton being “too streaky”. I’d start both TEs over Samuel. Only having one QB available and being in a TE premium format, I think you have to roll the dice.

.5 PPR league.
Got a couple GTD in Diggs and T Y.
If T. Y cant go, I feel like I can easily picot to D. J. Moore. The problem is Diggs is Monday night, which I have Baldwin, but hes also questionable (hasnt practiced) and on top of that he sucks.
So, if T Y is a go, do I just pivot to DJ for Diggs and not sweat it?
What if T Y is out and I have to put D J in, do I go ahead and throw in Zay Jones, Alshon or Josh Reynolds (please pick one if needed) or do I just wait out Baldwin and Diggs and assume one will play. It’s a lot of moving parts, but I really appreciate your consideration.
Thanks a ton,
Andrew
Jeff Haverlack
December 8, 2018 at 10:04 am
In times like that, I just side with safety and don’t risk the injury tag in most cases. So yes, I’d pivot to Moore and I think he’s a great play this week again.
That said, I’m not wild about any of the options if TY is out. Reynolds is a wild card every week, Alson has a tough matchup and as well as Zay has done recently, I’m not ready to start him. I’d prefer Diggs to be the call but I think Baldwin is going to play as is Diggs. There’s enough upside there in Diggs that I’d risk it knowing that Baldwin can be plugged in at home if Diggs is down. I dont’ think there’s a high likelihood both don’t play and if that’s the case, you may be able to pick up Treadwell or even Jaron Brown.
I think TY is going to play though he’s not 100%.

December 8, 2018 at 9:59 am
It’s hard for me to go Winston over Wilson, but I will this week with him up against NO. That said, my heart says to go with Wilson in the playoffs. Winston has these epic bad games that end seasons but his ceiling this week is good while Wilson is up against MIN. I won’t do it often but I’m good with Winston over Wilson this week.
Ware.

Hi Jeff…forgive me ahead of time…I have a lot here…3 Dynasty teams…half PPR…win or go home.
Team 1 – Ryan or Wentz?
Also, I am playing Josh Adams at RB (unfortunately he is my best option), Michael Thomas, AB, and Godwin at WR…need a flex out of Baldwin (Q on Monday night), Ty Montgomery, Doug Martin, or Sanu…yuk options here.
Team 2 – Ryan or Trubisky?
Need 1 or 2 RBs out of Josh Adams, Blount, Dixon, Jeffrey Wilson
Need 3 or 4 WRs out of Calloway, Keenan Allen (no brainer), Godwin, Josh Gordon, A-Rob
I am thinking 1 RB and 4 WRs might be my best bet here.
Team 3 is actually playing in the Toilet Bowl but with TB playoff winner getting 1st draft pick…so this is meaningful.
Can play 2 – 4 RBs and plan on playing Barkley, McCaffrey , and Josh Adams. I have Ridley as a possible 4th RB if you deem him as your recommendation.
Can play 3 – 5 WRs…here is where the problem lies. I have already played Corey Davis (3.5 pts ugh) and will play Baldwin (Q on Monday night)…my options for other WRs…Stills or MVS or Randall Cobb (free agent), or Kirkwood or Ateman or Higgins or Tim Patrick (free agent) or Bruce Ellington(free agent). HELP ME!!!

You are forgiven … now go in grace.
QB: Ryan – I don’t trust Wentz this week against that Dallas D
Probably go Martin for volume touches without having to risk a Baldwin start. Martin has scored in two straight.
QB Ryan again
RB Wilson
WR Allen, Godwin, Gordon and ARob
RB Barkley McC and Adams
WR Davis stunk it up which was a possibility but the big issue was no one saw Henry’s night coming so they didn’t need to throw. No way to foresee that. Here is my order for those WRs for you to plug:
Stills – Not exciting but he’ll compete for targets with Parker and he’s always a threat for a deep one
MVS – Hate his production but each week he has a high ceiling … just hard to reach it
Higgins – His role is growing
Ellington – Not sexy but across from Golladay, he’ll get targets
Patrick – Someone has to take Sanders’ targets between Hamilton and Patrick.
I don’t see you being able to start Cobb, Ateman or Kirkwood under most circumstances.

Hey Jeff,
Super Flex, .5 pt ppr
Pick two: Mayfield, Wentz, or Cousins? Leaning Mayfield and Wentz
Pick two: Samuels, Blount, or Edelman? I like Edelman and Blount, as Blount has a known role, good matchup, and no Kerryon, but Samuels has upside and a great matchup…also are any of these three better than either Wentz or Cousins as they both have bad matchups?
Many thanks

Hello Sarah
I’m going Mayfield and Cousins here. Wentz has been VERY erratic and though Tate is finally coming on that Dallas secondary is near the top in defense vs. Quarterbacks. It’s very close though.
Samuels and Edelman for me here without much thought. Blount does have a known role and could post but he’s so dependent on TDs. I like the upside of Samuels and everything I’ve seen point to him getting the touches. Blount may be considered safer though but it’s close.

0.5 PPR
With OBJ out now (insert face palm emoji here) I need 1 more flex between Gus Edwards, DT, Scantling, Njoku. (I’m thinking Edwards just to get me the guaranteed touches and hope for a goal line score.

Just to add. I can also activate Antonio Callaway from taxi squad if you think he’s worth it over Edwards. Thanks!

I’d stick with Edwards though Callaway’s ceiling is higher, his floor is much lower.

Team 1 = 1/2 PPR:
Austin Hooper or Cameron Brate?
Team 2 = PPR
Chris Herndon or CJ Uzomah?
Team 3 = PPR
First Pick 1 of these for a flex: Chris Godwin, Jarvis Landry, Tyler Boyd, Sterling Shepard?
Then pick a second one of those players that I could start if TY Hilton doesn’t play.
Team 4 = PPR but TEs get 1.5PPR
Same as the last one – First Pick 1 of these for a flex: Tevin Coleman, Damaryius Thomas, Alshon Jeffrey, Talor Gabriel, Vance McDonald?
Then, pick a second one from the list to replace Hilton at my other flex, if needed.
Thanks in advance!

This is as much a coin flip as you’ll find this week. I’m going Brate in a matchup which should feature a ton of throwing and TB is without DJax. Brate hasn’t caught more than 3 balls this season but I think today is different. Hooper has been the higher performer but OJ Howard is out now which helps Brate. Brate for me but it’s very close. I checked expert consensus on this and it’s Brate 67/33
Herndon – His ceiling is good each week though his floor is a bit lower in my mind. I’ll take Herndon in another VERY close call.
Sticking with Godwin with Djax out. With DJax out, Godwin goes over 100 yards and usually gets a TD. Shepard is interesting now without OBJ in the mix as well but Manning can’t be trusted. Looks like TY is up but in case something happens in pregame … I’d go Landry as my 2.
I hate this play but have to do it for known role and guaranteed touches: Coleman. Jeffery’s matcup is a tough one and DT is all over the place. Slight edge to DT over Jeffery as the 2.

Moore clearly for me here. I love his targets and his dynamic … he’s finally coming on and is now the WR1. SUtton is as well but doesn’t have nearly the dynamic Moore does.

1.Non-PPR:
Sterling Shepherd @ Wash
Pettis vs. Denver
2. 6 pt passing TD:
Would you consider starting Luck @ Hou over Roethlisberger @Oak since my opponent starts Hilton, Ebron and Mack to hedge against a big Indy game? Or just roll with Ben cause Oakland is so bad?
3. 0.5 PPR need 1 RB and 1 Flex
Ingram @TB
Ware vs Balt
DJ Moore @Cle
Landry vs Car
Lesean McCoy vs NYJ
—I have Ingram and ware in right now but struggling with ware vs Moore.
Thanks!!
Jeff Haverlack
December 9, 2018 at 6:47 am
Tough call here and it’s a classic high ceiling/low floor vs. known role play. Pettis is coming on but with no OBJ, Shepard should be targeted early and often. If Pettis catches that 50 yard TD, he could well outperform Shepard but without that, it will be 3 receptions for 37 yards. I’ll take the targets of Shepard with no OBJ.
That is a very interesting call. I’ll be back to answer that one as I’d like to do a bit of research …. hang in there.
RB Ingram
FX Ware
SO close here at the flex. Moore’s ceiling this week is higher than Ware’s clearly. But the role of Ware in your .5 PPR means I have to go Ware unless I”m a big underdog and need to shoot the moon. This is one of those situations where I’d like to see how the scoring is before choosing but both these players go early. I think you go Ware for the safety in the scoring format but don’t watch the Carolina game. 🙂 Getting the correct two will be difficult.

Ok, so let’s take a look at a couple things here. Firstly, starting Luck over Roeth also will diminish much of your possible QB advantage you COULD have as well so it’s a bit of a two way street and you have to be careful. Luck, at home, also destroyed Houston back in week four with 43.5 points in your format … or close to it.
I’m not sure if Luck vs. Ben is the same Non PPR format as your first question.
Mack only has one receiving touchdown and that came in week seven … he just isn’t involved much in the passing game. Ty Hilton is banged up but has been very solid in the past four weeks. Ebron as well though he was out in week 11. So Mack really isn’t minimized much, this is about Hilton and Ebron vs Luck. In PPR scoring
Week 4 (vs. HOU):
Luck = 43.5
TY/Ebron = 30.5
Week 10:
Luck = 27.2
TY/Ebron = 38.8
Week 11:
Luck = 29.8
TY/Ebron = 36.5 (Ebron out)
Week 12:
Luck = 29.5
TY/Ebron = 43
Week 13:
Luck = 9.4
TY/Ebron = 29.9
This is really going to come down to your other starters and how strong they are vs. your opponents QB. In a vacuum, Ben is the correct play over Luck this week but you have the ability to match off TDs through the air with Luck to minimize his three Colts but if Mack has a great game on the ground then it’s possible you lose your potential QB advantage. On the other side, if Luck has a great week, like in week 4, and the other three don’t …. you probably win big.
I normally don’t like to play this game in an important week but the ability to negate passing TD points from three of his players is enough for me to lean to Luck and if this is a NON-PPR league, even moreso as touchdowns rule the roost and lost PPR will be very impactful to Hilton/Ebron/Mack but not Luck!
If it’s Non PPR – I start Luck
If it’s PPR – I lean toward starting Luck realizing it’s a bit of a dangerous game should Mack have a great day or Luck have a very poor day.
Let me know what you decide to do, I’ll be watching this one.

Kemo,
Eleven teams with five squeezing into the playoffs, one a bye, and one playing in a three-way tie in week 14 for the last playoff spot with tiebreakers going 4 levels deep. As usual, you’ve been a great help this season and your advice, both taken and not, has been appreciated. Asking about each playoff team below with several 2QB ones, so I hope that’s not too much.
PPR
After losing Dalton and Hunt, things got more difficult with Sanders and now OBJ going out. This is the 2QB team I’ve asked about before where we’ve been playing Stafford or OBJ as my #2 QB/flex. Now I’m back to Stafford vs AZ, TreQuan, David Moore, Golladay, or McCoy to put in that spot. Your thoughts in order of preference? (Stafford is questionable and Keenum is my other QB)
PPR
Again 2QB, and I was forced to pick up Sanchez as a potential #2/flex with Flacco out. I have Justin Jackson off waivers, Curtis Samuel, McCoy, TreQuan, Anthony Miller all available. Your best guess out of that huge group?
PPR
2QB again. Need a flex from Sanchez, Lockett, Josh Adams, David Moore, Howard, MVS, or Anthony Miller. Also – Evans is one of my RB/WR’s – Is this the week he finally gets on track with Winston?
Non-PPR
Lost Conner and got beat to Samuels on waiver rights. Have McCoy who I’m lean to and Crowell available to me. Already playing Allen and Tyreek as my WR’s, but need a third from Sterling Shepard (leaning with OBJ out), DT, Mike Williams, Curtis Samuel, and Pettis who I just picked up. Also, do you like TE Rudolph or Burton this week?
Non-PPR
A league that plays 14 weeks with only 2 weeks for the 4 team playoffs. I could get the “W” here and still lose out on the convoluted tiebreakers. A complete disaster last week cost me not only the game, but the “total points for” lead, which was the 2nd tiebreaker. One of my favorite leagues so the playoff chance to win it all is special to me.
1) QB – Cam to bounce back or Luck vs Texans? Both on the road with tough matchups.
2) RB – With Breida out and Kareem on vacation, I did bid on and get Jeff Wilson. Need three RB’s from Edwards, McCoy, Michel, DJ, Justin Jackson, and SF Wilson. Good choices make it more interesting with the non-PPR.
3) WR – Hilton is a GTD but has done well lately. Need four WR’s from him, Cooks, Tyreek (leaning those two to start), Lockett, Samuel, TreQuan, Zay Jones, and Golladay. I dropped Sterling Shepard a couple of days ago. Would you consider picking him back up versus any of the other names above with OBJ out?
4) TE – Lost Greg Olsen this week. Little out there on waivers but choosing Sunday AM between Ian Thomas, LaCosse, Uzy, Herndon, Everett, and Jordan Thomas
is pretty disappointing. Your TE thoughts?
As always, Tonto thanks you. Good luck on your week 14 ride Kemo.

December 9, 2018 at 7:31 am
The length of questions just means it has to come at the end so I can be sure to get to everyone. And for whatever reason, this week has blown up. I think it’s more than week one, probably because of playoffs.
Stafford is probably good for 15 points in my book with a relatively low ceiling of perhaps 21and he’ll play. Keenum with no Sanders is no bueno. I think you have to go Stafford here unless you want to jump the shark and hope Smith or Golladay can outproduce him. I don’t think that happens.
Jackson in PPR. I don’t trust Sanchez enough. I think Evans will see a lot of double coverage but you have to play him. I think DJax absence helps Godwin more.
Lockett for me – I love his upside and his targets have been solid. He’s a bit feast or famine but Baldwin is still dinged and Lockett is now the WR1.
McCoy. Shepard for role now and Rudolph. Burton has REALLY disappointed me. Mike Williams is a possible play over Shep IF Ty Williams is down. I’m hoping to hear on Ty Williams soon and have a league where I want to start Williams over Golladay
Last week was an odd week and a lot of people got burned. You’re not alone there.
1) Cam over Luck for me. Both playing away, but HOU is tough and HIlton is dinged. I look for a big game from Ebron but Cam is the easy play for me.
2) Edwards is an auto start in the format. DJ has well. Oh boy on the third one. The ‘correct’ play here is Michel for usage and matchup but Burkhead is back now and it muddies the water. The only other choice for me in standard scoring would be Jackson vs. CIN’s terrible run D and missing Burfict. I’d stick with Michel but if you’re chasing points and want to go high upside, I think Jackson is it … though his floor is lower.
3) Cooks, Tyreek, Hilton and ….. Golladay. I really like Lockett this week and Golladay does scare me because DET has little else and I expect double coverage all over the field. But your WRs are strong enough to take the known targets and production over the upside and downside of Lockett. Picking up Shepard would make sense but I don’t think he’s a start over these others except, maybe, Golladay and I probably wouldn’t do it.
4) Thomas. Not many others to take away snaps and Cam uses the TE. Thomas looked okay. LaCosse is the upside play now but he burned me last week after a nice game.

Hi Jeff,
OBJ is out, now I need a new WR for my .5 PPR dynasty. TY or Edelman?
Many thanks
Jeff Haverlack
December 9, 2018 at 6:48 am
Edelman for me with TY’s injury. He always seems to do this and is usually fine but Edelman is healthy and will see a lot of targets. It’s close to 50/50 here but I’ll go safety with Edelman.

PPR… Start 2 of Keenan Allen, Tyreek or Evans
Jeff Haverlack
December 9, 2018 at 6:50 am
Yeesh, why not ask me to save only one of my daughter or wife from a burning building?
Allen and Hill.
Sitting Evans today is a tough call with a lot of passing on the way and Hill could have another down day vs. that BAL defense, but his ceiling is so high every week. DJax down means that defenses can more often double Evans. I think this helps Godwin more and it has played out in the past as well.
Allen is the auto start of the three but I’ll still go upside of Hill as I think they’ll go to a lot of underneath passes to get Hill in space

Hi Jeff,
Standard scoring.
Need to start 3 RBs from:
Chubb
Mixon
Michel
Ware
Samuel’s
Edwards
Wilson Jr
J Jackson
Need to start 1 WR from:
Boyd
Sterling Shepard
Thanks
Jeff Haverlack
December 9, 2018 at 6:56 am
Very little way to pick the right three here. So, going to go with known role, snaps to matchup. All it takes is a pass interference at the goal line to create a scoring opportunity.
Chubb – Automatic start
Mixon – Close to automatic today for role
Edwards – Tough call over Ware but he’s going to get a lot of work with a team near-last against the rush. Ware against BAL is tougher.
I think you go Boyd here now with OBJ out and Norman in the mix but I don’t expect Norman to travel with Shep. Boyd.

PPR Pick 1
Mike Williams or Alshon Jeffery at wr.
PPR Pick 1
Ekeler or Jaylen Samuels or Adrian Peterson or Mike Williams or Alshon Jeffery (whichever of them I don’t start at wr) at flex?
Harley Ferguson
December 9, 2018 at 2:48 am
Leaning Ekeler initially but the Jackson hype and Ekeler injury has me leaning Jaylen Samuels now. Don’t like the Ridley committee though.
Jeff Haverlack
December 9, 2018 at 6:58 am
I’d stick with Jeffery unless Ty Williams is down. I would rather start Williams here but Jeffery will see the snaps I need. If Ty is out Mike Williams can be played but is still feast or famine.
Samuels for pure upside- Riskier than I like but with enough fire below the smoke to be a high ceiling play today. I’ve tried Ekeler twice this season and he’s burned me both times because his usage isn’t consistent and Jackson looked really good last week.

Hey Jeff,
super late once again but i hope you have some advise for me.
Same old german dynasty league 36 teams, 3x each player, PPR, Full IDP
Since Conner is out i think about starting Samuels (@ OAK) right now i have 2 tight ends in the line up [Ebron (@HOU) and Njoku (vs CAR) , the other player i could flex out is Robinson (vs LAR). Who would you start if you have to pick 3 out of these 4 ?
Defense question:
Burfict is out, would you start Jordan Evans (@LAC) over Zach Brown (vs NYG)? A third option to start could be Oluokun (@GBP).
Thanks as always and greetings from Austria 🙂
Jeff Haverlack
December 9, 2018 at 7:02 am
Hey Manuel … no worries.
I like the lineup and would start Samuels. I’d leave ARob out if you can. Njoku has enough upside to be interesting over ARob…. close though.
I’d go Brown. NYG lost OBJ so there’s going to be even more Barkley this week. Brown should be VERY busy.

I just can’t stomach the floor of Engram, even with OBJ out. If he reinjures his hamstring, he’s done … and even with OBJ out, while I like his dynamic, it’s just not there this year. I go with Cook
