Three College Tight Ends to Stash, Trash, or Keep in Devy Leagues

Brandon Haye

This week, we move on to tight ends to round out the first cycle for this series. It used to be the top three tight ends in the NFL and everyone else. There has been an influx of early tight-end producers lately, and many are looking for the next ones to come out of college football. Let's look at some tight ends you should target or look to move to this offseason.

Stash: Maliq Carr, Houston

Maliq Carr was the number four tight end recruit in 2020 and committed to the Purdue Boilermakers. He only played three games at Purdue in the COVID-shortened season and then decided to transfer to his home state to play for Michigan State. He would only have 24 receptions in his next two years, but in 2023, he saw a considerable uptick. Carr had 52 targets and 30 receptions for 352 yards and three touchdowns in 2023, all higher than his career totals.
