Willson has never recorded more than 22 receptions and that was in 2014. The Seahawks traded Nick Vannett to Pittsburgh and promptly lost Dissly which hurts the offense in a big way. Dissly, still a young tight player has a knack for exploiting seams in defensive secondaries, something Willson has never shown the ability to do. Regardless, Willson inherits the role and should be a near every-snap player with an outside chance of being productive on the end of passes from Russel Wilson. As DLF's TE49, he can be started as a TE3 and does carry upside should he display chemistry with Russell Wilson. He's an immediate add in deeper leagues or for teams needing emergency starter help.
