Welcome to the 'Buy, Sell, or Hold' series where each week I’ll be focusing on one position to analyze four players and what we should be doing with them. On the menu this week are four running backs somewhere in the RB2 spectrum. Let’s dive in.
Tony Pollard, RB DAL – League Dependent
In 2023, Pollard finally got the workload we had been hoping for and the results were quite disappointing. He finished with 13.1 PPR points per game, which was only RB23 on the year. Pollard, a running back known for his top-notch efficiency in the past, was a shell of his former self, finishing with career lows in yards per carry, yards per reception, yards after contact per attempt, and yards per route run. Now a free agent, Pollard’s future has a lot of uncertainty to it. Was he still hampered from his end-of-2022 injury but his old self is still in there or is this the beginning of the end?
