2024 Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Profile: Braelon Allen, RB Wisconsin
The narrative on the 2024 running back class is that it lacks talent. There are just a few running backs in this year’s class who will hold value in dynasty rookie drafts. The rest will just be late-round fliers. Since the market is shallow, the top running backs in the class will receive extra notoriety since there is less top-tier talent to dilute the market.
Braelon Allen is one of the top running backs in the 2024 NFL Draft. He’s a big back who was very productive during his tenure at Wisconsin. He was one of the few running backs in this year’s draft who dynasty gamers were paying attention to back in 2021 when he broke out as a freshman. He is one of the few who could make a massive impact in fantasy.

It didn’t take long for Allen to showcase the goods during his freshman season. All it took was four games into the season for him to completely own Wisconsin’s backfield. We saw him take over in week four against Illinois by rushing for 131 yards and one touchdown. He then ripped off six straight 100-yard performances. His best game came against Nebraska where he rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns. Allen produced an incredible 4.48 yards after contact per attempt and had 31 carries that went for ten yards or more.
