January Dynasty ADP Risers and Fallers

John Hesterman

Some of you may be familiar with this series. This one is going to look a little different. Instead of going position by position in separate articles, we will collectively cover dynasty ADP risers and fallers and highlight some of the biggest movers, shakers, and changes in value over the last month.

Dynasty ADP is an ever-changing construct, and each position has its own variance and nuance. Some trends, however, do hold typically similar. Younger players rise while older players fall, to an extent.

The ADP reflected is the latest January ADP data for a 12-team, single-quarterback startup.

Let’s jump right into the data.

Risers

James Cook, RB BUF +40.5

Cook, and his fantasy managers, enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign that saw him finish as the RB12 (PPR scoring) overall. He finished with the fourth-most rushing yards (1,122) among the position and finished with six total touchdowns. His touchdown total is somewhat disappointing compared to the opportunities. Alas, Josh Allen remains the goal-line back of the offense. Four of Cook’s touchdowns came through the air.

Despite the lower-than-expected rushing touchdown total, Cook has solidified himself as the primary back and excelled with his opportunities.

Cook went from RB24 to RB11 in a month. When it comes to running backs, opportunity is the primary indicator, followed closely by age. Cook checks both boxes for startup drafts. His trade price will also reflect this increase.

David Njoku, TE CLE +55.33
