The Texans have cut wide receiver Diontae Johnson.
Read moreThe team activities are closed as the dynasty dead period has begun. As dynasty managers prepare for the season, a lot of patience is required during this time so as to not overreact to the daily news wire. Here are four tight ends to watch before training camp:
Musgrave checks in at TE16 in the latest ADP. It might be a bit premature to sell right at this second, but he is trending to jump into the top 12 or so before the season. The competition at tight end in Green Bay is non-existent and ultimately, the narrative that Musgrave is the “receiving” tight end is taking over. The bottom line? He is a rookie with a limited college production profile. Expect a flat value curve over the next year or two and be willing to liquidate based on summer hype.
The Move – Cole Kmet, Trey McBride and Noah Fant are fabulous “pivot downs” from Musgrave based on ADP. I would cash out on any second-round pick in a start one, 1.5 premium league. Shopping him in heavier premium formats (1.75+ PPR or start two) can generate some market demand that may net you a value win before the season even starts.
