AFC SOUTH IDP OUTLOOK:

HOUSTON TEXANS

The Houston Texans made a huge trade in the 2023 NFL Draft. After taking QB C.J. Stroud with the second-overall pick of the draft, they traded up to the third pick and drafted edge player Will Anderson from Alabama. The Texans gave up some future capital to get Anderson, who many believe is a star in the making. He joins a defensive unit that has seen a lot of turnover. They have an experienced group, but many of their players, such as linebackers Denzel Perryman and Cory Littleton, are in the twilight of their careers. The secondary has some young talent with second-year-players cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. and safety Jalen Pitre. Both showed major promise as rookies.
