What would be your approach if you owned both Chase and Higgins? I had the 1.04 pick in a 1 QB 1/2 pt per reception league this past year and to my shock Chase fell to me so I couldn’t pass him up even though I already had Higgins. I do have a very solid team that just won the championship this past season and in 3 of the past 5 seasons so I’m certainly not in a rebuilding mode. .
I did have a trade offer or two thrown my way for Higgins midway through this past season right before he really started to increase his numbers but it was just for an early 2nd rd 2022 pick so it wasn’t enough to entice me even at the time when he was not at the top of his game. .
Do you ever factor in a possible added plus that if having both and one of them gets a more serious injury putting them out for quite awhile that the other guy will likely get even more targets? Almost an added insurance policy type situation.
Great analysis as ever! Would love your view on a recent trade I did (12 team, full PPR 1QB): gave up Dalvin Cook & Alexander Mattison plus Gabriel Davis in exchange for Jaylen Waddle and Travis Etienne… my starting rotation of RB’s is now Harris, Akers, Dobbins and ETN, and at WR I feel really strong with Waddle, Jefferson, Higgins and Claypool. Felt like the right time to move on from Dalvin and although Etienne is an unknown quantity he could have huge upside. Question is, did I give up too soon on Cook?
You just made my day! Thanks Russ!!
