The best medicine is a sweet match up against the whack Colts defense… I sense production for CJ in the near future. Also, this struggle reminds be of how situation can play a major role in a players development and overall success. The most talented guy can and will struggle with poor situation, and that goes for the mental side of things as well as the physical. There is a reason there are sports psycologist, and it is because athletes struggle to overcome the pressures the media, fans, teammates, coaches, and even themselves, tend to put on. CJ has the talent, and showed it when he had a good supporting cast, but now that things aren’t perfect, he has struggled, and must learn to overcome… Because thats what the great ones do.

Good article but a lot of fat. Really only needs 3 words, He got paid!

I don’t blame him, rbs take a helluva beating. Reminds of Jerome Bettis and somebody talking about him limping up and down stairs. And he’s not even 40.

I’m really split on this guy but my gut says he’s done as anything more than a rb2.

He’s the worst type of bust – because you start him every single week. Jamaal Charles has done far better for his owners. . .

i’ve started this guy every week, and somehow im still in first

thank goodness for ppr at least, dude is averaging 12.02 points per game in my league, which is currently 22nd for running backs. I kinda wish he would get benched, so we could see what Ringer could do with extended playing time

Love your articles but I wanted to tell you about a feel good story. Apparently there is a glowing video on YouTube of Fairfax Virginia. It depicts the Fairfax Ambulance and Fire Fighters (btw I’m not sure if Fire Fighters is one word or two) and it shows them saving someone and it just generally has a really good feel to it. I’ll try and find the link in a little bit and post it. Sorry, I guess I’m just a bit unprepared. In any case, the point is that there are so many stories in the media about negative things that seeing something positive is a pleasant change of pace.
