Jeff Haverlack @DLF_Jeff
Senior Partner / Chief Operations Officer
Jeff is responsible for managing the finances and operations of DLF, as well as being one of the lead writers. He also works at developing strategic partnerships in the fantasy football community and is a member of the FSWA. Jeff plays guitar, is a savvy investor, and will probably retire way before any of us.
Ken Kelly @DLF_Kenk
Senior Partner / Chief Content Officer
As Editor In Chief, Ken coordinates all of the articles and content produced on DLF which lately is a pretty considerable undertaking. Ken also manages a lot of the marketing and graphics. He is a prolific writer who has won more league championships than we care to count, though he never fails to remind us where the league trophy is sitting right at this moment. Ken is also a member of the FSWA. Ken does way more work on DLF than anyone realizes.
Ken Moody @DLF_KenM
Senior Partner / Chief Technology Officer
Ken 2.0 manages all of the website stuff. Most of the time he is busy managing the technology for a large commercial real estate company and spending time with his wife and two kids. He also spends a lot of time contemplating web applications, strategic partnerships, marketing, computing, history, the Chargers, drones, religion, 3D Printing, politics, bourbon, and how to survive a zombie apocalypse. Wanna make Ken Talk? Ask him about Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Vikings, Outlander (yes, yes, I know) and other awesome shows.
Eric Dickens @DLFootball
Junior Partner / Social Media Specialist
Eric is the undisputed social media and twitter presence for DLF. He is always quick to provide excellent advice and insight, so don’t hesitate to hit him up if you see him on Twitter.
Jarrett Behar @EyeoftheGator
Senior Writer & Host of the DLF Dynasty Podcast
Jarrett Behar is a Senior Writer and the Host of the DLF Dynasty Podcast. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, which has gone on to win three national titles in football and two in basketball since his enrollment. Jarrett is the commissioner of two contract dynasty leagues, Blue Label and Green Label, which boasts many DLF writers among its owners, and Race to the Bottom, an unconventional redraft league where the object is to score the least amount of points each week using starting players. Described as ruggedly handsome by his wife, and the funniest person they know by his son and daughter, Jarrett is currently suffering from acute addictions to both wide receivers and developmental tight ends.
Jeffrey Beran @jefeberan
Jeff draws from his nearly two decades of fantasy sports experience to write for DLF as a creative outlet. His favorite aspects of dynasty leagues are trade analysis, roster management, draft prep, and pretty much anything else that can be best accomplished with use of an Excel spreadsheet. He loves philosophy, hyperbole, black coffee, watching TV, and especially the Oxford comma.
Jason Blanton @Jason_Blanton
Web Development & Producer of the DLF Dynasty Podcast
Jason is quite solidly the second best producer on the podcast, and unabashedly idolizes his mentor, Producer Mick. Jason loves his Bengals almost as much as a good bottle of fine bourbon. Both invariable leave him feeling nauseous the next morning.
Brian Bulmer @Brian_Bulmer
Brian’s day job is teacher and sports medicine provider. At night he is writing fantasy football preparing readers of DLF for their next championship season. He enjoys playing fantasy football and also spending time with his wife and two year old daughter. Brian’s proudest moment as a father occurred when his daughter took Sam Gordon, the 9 year old YouTube football sensation, in her latest devy draft. !Championship!
Russell Clay @FFRussellClay
Eric Coleman @UtahEC
Eric has enjoyed fantasy sports over of the past 15 years. Eric’s engineering background has led him to seeking out more complex leagues each year. This has resulted in the inevitable path of focusing on leagues involving individual defensive players (IDP) and developmental leagues. When Eric is not watching or researching football, he can be found climbing or backcountry skiing in Wasatch mountains of Utah.
Jacob Feldman @feldmanjacob
Senior Writer & Statistician
Jacob is a math and statistics teacher at both the high school and college levels. His articles are primarily research based and with the help of data and statistical analysis he hopes to provide further insight into the world of fantasy football. He’s also a Bears fan living in Minnesota.
Scott Fish @scottfish24
Senior Writer & Developer, Cruise Director and MC of Fun
Scott started playing dynasty in 1992 and loves to regale people with how in his 1995 rookie draft he called J.J. Stokes the next Jerry Rice. In 1999, with a friend, he created what was then called College Farm System Dynasty Leagues. They are now widely called Developmental Dynasty leagues. Scott has been in the fantasy football industry since 2003 and in 2008 created his own successful site, FFOasis.com. In April of 2014 after 6 amazing years, Scott closed FFOasis and joined DLF. At DLF, Scott focuses mostly on projects behind the scenes with web development. He also contributes to the Dynasty Scouts section. Scott is a member of FSWA. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, he is married to the most amazing woman that has ever existed in the history of everything. They have been together since 2001 and in 2013 welcomed a son into their family. He is 15 months old and already 35 inches tall. Or as Scott likes to say, 13 inches away from riding roller coasters. He also is trying to make this bio longer than Ken Moody’s, but alas, he will be unsuccessful in that attempt.
Jaron Foster @jlfoster10
Finally putting his Sport Management degree to use, Jaron’s day job as an account manager and data analyst in the beverage industry helps brewers from MillerCoors to Founders forecast orders and sales. In the same way, he analyzes trends in football statistics to help forecast fantasy production. He’s currently in everything from PPR dynasty to points-only leagues, and is always happy to provide advice or just talk football on Twitter.
Eric Hardter @EDH_27
Senior Writer & Co-Host of the DLF Dynasty Podcast
The third (and youngest) Eric got his start here through DLF’s writing contest. He writes about various things in the dynasty universe, preferring to utilize statistics and sarcasm whenever possible. Eric also attends graduate school at Boston College for chemistry, is a huge Penn State fan and lives by the motto “Pugs, not Drugs.”
Rob Leath @RobLeath24
Dan Meylor @dmeylor22
Ryan McDowell @RyanMc23
In addition to his role as Senior Staff Writer here at DLF, Ryan is also a husband, father of three and second grade teacher. Ryan is the commissioner of multiple dynasty leagues, most notably the HyperActive Dynasty Leagues. Here at DLF, Ryan’s focus is on identifying, monitoring and analyzing player value. Check out Ryan’s work on the Weekly Impact Events and Dynasty Stock Market, as well as our dynasty ADP data.
Jeff Miller @FFJeffM
New Jeff is fairly, uh, new to the dynasty format. The only reason he was asked to join the DLF team was to fulfill a prophecy handed down over 60,012 years ago by an ancient tribe of dynasty headball analysts (they didn’t have air pumps, so they played with the severed heads of their fallen enemies). That prophecy states, “In the future times, the fantasy website to be known as Dynasty League Football shall harbor three Jeff’s. On the day the third Jeff ascends to the throne of dynasty analysis, all of the world’s fantasy sins will be forgiven. Except for Trent Richardson. Nobody can do anything to erase that.” When not fulfilling prophecies, Jeff splits his time between his job in the online poker world, his family, and a crippling addiction to Garbage Pail Kids trading cards. Sometimes he goes outside during daylight hours, but can mostly be found in front of a computer in his pajamas. When asked how he feels about sleep, he barked like a dog and pounded three Red Bull’s.
Eric Olinger @OlingerIDPGuru
Senior Writer & IDP Specialist
Eric numero dos (that’s Spanish for “Eric numero two”) joined DLF in spring 2012 after coming to the harsh realization his dream of becoming Batman was never going to happen. When he’s not writing fantasy football articles he often spends his time training contenders in the exciting and dangerous world of Amish bum fighting. He has his Masters degree in being awesome and hopes to one day start a family band with his wife and four children called “The Walking Farts”. He brings over 15 years of dynasty IDP experience to the DLF team and 32 years of experience in not taking too much seriously.
Leo Paciga @FFHoudini
Leo started playing fantasy football way back in 1987 when the Monday edition of the USA TODAY, a pencil and a calculator were essential tools for tracking league stats, scores and standings. Switching over to dynasty in the late 90’s, Leo enjoyed the challenge of rebuilding abandoned dynasty teams; a challenge that few owners wanted to attempt. Leo now focuses on scouting college players for his developmental teams and combining the worlds of quantitative and qualitative data in order to fine tune his player breakdowns. Leo is very active on Twitter and also a member of the FSWA.
Scott Peak @Scott_Peak
Senior Writer / The Dynasty Doctor
I’ve always been a huge fan of football, having grown up a San Diego Chargers fan in Philadelphia. Not sure how I survived that one. As a Chargers fan, I got used to failed expectations. I needed an outlet to satisfy my lust for winning and competition, so I started playing fantasy football. A friend introduced me to the dynasty format, then the DLF website. At that point, I was hooked. I am a neuro-oncologist and help treat patients with brain and spine tumors. I’m very lucky to serve as the Dynasty Doctor for DLF, and I hope my injury analysis will help provide useful information for you. Injuries are tricky, just like treating disease in life. Hard to predict. Stressful. But, with good data and sufficient analysis, we can achieve the desired result, that small edge to make good decisions for our teams and win championships!
Rob Pitzer @7RoundsInApril
Mark Rockwell @mark_rockwell85
Physician assistant by day and dynasty enthusiast at night, Mark got his start writing on the member’s corner. When Mark isn’t saving lives in the emergency room (code for curing diarrhea, doing rectal exams and ordering STD testing), he spends the majority of his time with his wife an baby daughter. Relatively new to the dynasty writing scene, Mark prefers a good mixture of gut feelings, eye tests and statistics. Dynasty is the only way to go as it minimizes luck, requires hard work and is more rewarding than any other type of fantasy sports.
Karl Safchick @KarlSafchick
Senior Writer & Co-Host of the DLF Dynasty Podcast
Steve Wyremski @SteveWyremski
Senior Writer & IDP Specialist
Steve is primarily focused on IDP here at DLF and brings over 15 years of fantasy football experience. He commishes five well-established dynasty leagues under the name “Backyard Brawl” which were founded back in 2004. Steve also dabbles with player interviews from time to time with his most entertaining interview being Brandon Lloyd.
