Welcome back to another installment of DLF's annual dynasty review series, where we break down each NFL division from a dynasty perspective.
If you’ve been following along, you know the routine by now. We’ll go team by team, looking at depth charts and key offseason moves before ranking each division’s position groups from best to worst. Finally, to tie it all together, we’ll predict each division’s MVP, biggest steal, biggest bust, and more.
We’ve already covered the AFC’s IDP landscape in two parts here and here. Now it's time to focus on the NFC, starting with the North and East.
Did the Bears overspend by giving Grady Jarrett and Dayo Odeyingbo a combined $60 million in guarantees? Jarrett has produced only four sacks in the last two years despite having over 650 pass rush attempts, and Odeyingbo followed up his breakout eight-sack 2023 campaign with only three takedowns in 2024.
Despite adding 30 pounds a year ago and weighing in at 300 lbs, rookie Shemar Turner has been described as a tweener because he spent a significant amount of snaps on the edge for the Aggies between 2022 and 2023. Dennis Allen appears to be inclined to use him on the interior, but he’d have to be superb to unseat Gervon Dexter, who has proven he belongs.
Montez Sweat has a point to prove after his production dipped in 2024. He’s far from being a bad player, but he’s lost ground in recent years and now finds himself as the DL38 in DLF’s Dynasty IDP Rankings.
T.J. Edwards didn’t play as well as usual last year, but DLF’s LB outproduced Tremaine Edmunds by a wide margin. 2025 fourth-rounder Ruben Hyppolite II should be stashed on taxi squads in case Edmunds slips up or is released in 2026. The rookie has made a promising start.

Byard may have lost his ball-hawk reputation, but he’s still got sound fundamentals as a tackler and should be rostered by contending fantasy teams unfazed by his age. Brisker’s concussion history is a concern, but he appears on track to return in 2025. Elijah Hicks showed signs of promise in 2024 and could serve as insurance, if needed.
Tyrique Stevenson was very productive last year and seems to like what new DB coach Al Harris brings to the secondary. Kyler Gordon is the pick of the corners in IDP, especially if he retains the slot DB role in the new scheme.
