Rookie tight end James Mitchell scored his first touchdown in the Lions stunning upset of the Packers in week nine
Following the big trade of T.J. Hockenson to Minnesota, Mitchell mixed-in with second-year player Brock Wright, converting on both of his targets for eight yards and his first score as a professional. He only played 13 snaps (21%) so it appears as though Wright may be the favored option going forward though it will be a trend to watch. Unranked on DLF's tight end rankings, it's too soon to project a meaningful role for the fifth-round rookie selection.
