Who should you be watching in today's bowl games?
Every year, there are big-name college players who, surprisingly, do not get drafted. Fantasy football players want to find the next sleeper. There have been recent success stories like Jaylen Warren, Jalen Coker, Jordan Mason, and Rashid Shaheed, but for the most part, undrafted free agents do not have a high success rate.
Many will not hit, but you must temper your expectations and not overdraft UFDAs. I am here to help find the best guesses who could see time early and make a splash. I will go over players who could contribute right away and players you should stash on your taxi squad.
It was surprising that the Dallas Cowboys did not draft any wide receivers. After CeeDee Lamb, there is not much to get excited about. Jalen Tolbert had 610 yards last year, and the next receiver was KaVontae Turpin, with only 420 yards. Holden started at Alabama before transferring to Oregon and had his best season in 2024. He finished with 718 yards and five touchdowns. Holden can do a little bit of everything and has the versatility to play inside and outside. He could see himself in three wide receiver sets very early in his rookie year.
