It's the time of the year when this series draws to a close. As this ends, I wanted to look back at the trends of the incoming rookies based on their most recent ADP and see where they all started. Using DLF's ADP comparison tool, I analyzed each position over the last four months to examine how our opinions on players have evolved as we gained more information about them and their potential in the NFL.
There's not a lot to see in this year's quarterback class. For most of the off-season, Shedeur Sanders was considered the QB2 in the class, with many believing he was the QB1. After his epic fall in the NFL draft, his ADP took an expected hit. Conversely, with Jaxson Dart sneaking into round one of the NFL draft, his ADP shot up. Similarly, Tyler Shough saw a giant leap after going surprisingly early to a quarterback-needy Saints team. This year's class is light on talent, and the late ADP movement was very predictable based on what we saw in the NFL draft.
I was wondering how I would separate this year's running back group. In the end, I thought I would look at them grouped by their rounds, based on May's rookie ADP.
