Michael Bennett News

  • Ashton Jeanty mocked to Denver · Feb 2, 2025

Boise State running Ashton Jeanty was picked #20 overall by the Broncos in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.

Jeanty is often mocked to Dallas, so this was a little different. Fresh off an unbelievable season where he posted nearly 2,500 rushing yards, Jeanty will undoubtedly be the first running back off the board in both the NFL and rookie drafts this year. Jeanty would fit well in Denver as the Javonte Williams era seems to be over. We'll see what happens, but Jeanty looks like a player who could be the top position player taken in rookie drafts this Spring if he lands in a desirable spot - Denver would be one of those for sure.

  • Tyler Warren mocked to the Colts · Feb 2, 2025

Penn State tight end Tyler Warren was was picked #14 overall by the Colts in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.

If Brock Bowers is the next big thing at the position, Warren has be considered the next "medium" thing. He was incredibly productive this season with 88 catches for 1,062 yards and six touchdowns for Penn State, carrying their offense at times. He'd make for a great security blanket for Anthony Richardson and looks like a first round pick in any format in upcoming rookie drafts.

  • Tetairoa McMillan mocked to the Raiders · Feb 2, 2025

Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was picked #7 overall by the Raiders in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.

The Raiders have needs across the board, including quarterback. However, McMillan would make for a logical fit as Vegas was forced to just pepper Brock Bowers relentlessly this season due to their lack of talent (and the fact Bowers is pretty good). McMillan posted 174 catches for more than 2,700 yards and 18 touchdowns over the past two years at Arizona, showing some dynamic qualities along the way. He'll be in the mix with Ashton Jeanty to be the first position player taken in dynasty rookie drafts this season.

  • Shedeur Sanders mocked to the Giants · Feb 2, 2025

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was picked #3 overall by the Giants in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.

The Giants need a new quarterback and have to be sitting on pins and needles, hoping Ward and Sanders aren't both off the board when they pick at #3. With a lot of teams willing to maneuver around to get one of the two, this is far from a given. It's also unclear how much say Deion Sanders is going to have in the situation as it seems clear he's willing to do whatever he can to steer his son's future where he wants it. Regardless, this would be a good landing spot for Sanders, who could grow along with Malik Nabers in creating a refreshed offense for the G-man. Regardless, he'll be in consideration with Ward towards the top of Superflex drafts this Spring.

  • Travis Hunter mocked to Cleveland · Feb 2, 2025

Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter was picked #2 overall in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.

The Browns are likely going to be in position to get Hunter or trade down as their pick is going to be coveted by teams looking for a quarterback. They could certainly go that way as well, but Hunter is about as dynamic as they come. The question dynasty managers will need answered is how he's going to be deployed at the NFL level. If he's only a part-time receiver, his value will not be nearly as great as it could be. Hunter is shaping up as one of the biggest gambles in dynasty drafts this Spring.

  • Cam Ward mocked #1 · Feb 2, 2025

Miami quarterback Cam Ward was picked #1 overall by the Titans in Mel Kiper's initial mock draft.

The Titans have tried to make it work with Will Levis and others, but after middling through the Ryan Tannehill era as a pretty average team, they might be wise to look at what could be an elite-level signal caller. Ward threw for over 4,300 yards with 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions this year. He also holds the record for most touchdown passes in college history with 156 after stops with Incarnate World, Washington State and Miami. At this point, he looks like the frontrunner for the #1 pick and would be a solid selection at the top of rookie superflex drafts this Spring.

  • Ladd McConkey shines · Jan 12, 2025

Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey had nine catches for 197 yards and a touchdown in a playoff loss to Houston.

McConkey had 14 targets on the day, nine more than any other player on the Chargers. While Los Angeles will clearly add more talent at the position, McConkey has done nothing but impress this season and today's line just shows how good he's been. While not quite in the upper tier of pass catchers, McConkey is very well going to flirt with WR1 value next season unless the Chargers make a multitude of moves in the off-season. He's a strong hold after an impressive rookie season.

  • Will Levis unlucky · Jan 6, 2025

Titans quarterback Will Levis completed 9-of-17 passes for 175 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in a loss against Houston.

Levis finishes the season with 2,091 passing yards, with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Unfortunately for him, the loss was combined with a Patriots win, giving the Titans the top pick in the NFL Draft. At this point, it seems more than likely the Titans use that pick to replace him at quarterback, with Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders topping the list of candidates. Levis has been fine this year at times, but has really looked more like a backup than a franchise savior and today's events won't help his dynasty value.

  • Bucky Irving solid in finale · Jan 6, 2025

Bucs rookie running back Bucky Irving had 89 rushing yards and a touchdown in the Bucs in a playoff-sealing win against the Saints.

It's telling that Irving had all but two or the running back carries in a game of this importance for Tampa Bay. In other words, he's gone from a luxury to a necessity and has the looks of a future RB1 in dynasty leagues. Irving's value could go up even higher with a solid postseason. Regardless, few other rookies saw an increase in value like Irving did and he's a very solid hold in dynasty leagues moving forward.

  • Malik Nabers strong again · Dec 29, 2024

Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers had seven catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Colts.

His career day puts him at 101/1,140/6 on the season. Nabers has been electric from day one and the thought of him playing on a team with a competent quarterback has to make dynasty managers salivate. Nabers is going to enter the off-season as a top-ten dynasty wide receiver and could even be seen as a top-5 option at the position. In short, he's a star.
