The Ravens have signed running back Derrick Henry to a two-year deal worth up to $20 million
On paper, this seems like a perfect fit. Baltimore is a run-first team with a smash-mouth approach to the game. Henry will pair with Lamar Jackson to likely form the most potent rushing attack in the game. While he is no longer the same player he once was, Henry was still more than effective last season and should have 2-3 more good years left in him. When you consider Gus Edwards was able to post 13 rushing touchdowns last year, it gets even more exciting. Henry's dynasty ranking is almost irrelevant - he's a short-term buy candidate for a contending team, plain and simple.

The Titans will not use the franchise tag on running back Derrick Henry.
This should come as no surprise as Henry took the mic at the end of the last Titans game to say goodbye to the only fan base he's ever known. Henry has had a dominant run since entering the league in 2016 but his age (30) indicates the end is near. Dynasty managers are clearly hoping he has one or two more solid years left as he looks to latch in with a contender like Dallas or Baltimore. Time will tell on this one but Henry should be looked upon as a solid contending team target and clearly a player to move on from if your dynasty team isn't in contention.

Titans running back Derrick Henry has been linked to the Baltimore Ravens in free agency.
Add Baltimore to the list of possible destination for Henry, who has essentially said goodbye to Tennessee and will soon be a free agent. The Ravens will likely have a need at the position as JK Dobbins will be returning from another significant injury, Gus Edwards is aging, and Keaton Mitchell is likely best used as a change of pace runner. This is just speculation at the moment but it's clear Henry is going to have a market for his services this off-season.

Free agent running back Derrick Henry is being linked to Dallas this off-season.
Henry was spotted working out recently in Dallas and that's leading to some speculation. It's likely much ado about nothing but the Cowboys could be in the market for a running back after Tony Pollard failed to impress this season. Henry has all but said goodbye to Tennessee and could be a Hall of Famer in the end but he's likely looking to catch on with a contender and chase a Super Bowl ring. His dynasty value will hold until he has a new home but he's much more of a RB2 than a RB1 at this point, regardless of where he ends up.

Titans running back Derrick Henry had nine yards on 16 carries while “adding” four catches for one more yard in the Titans loss to Houston.
The 29-year old Derrick Henry posted one of the worst days of his career as If was a huge disappointment after he had scored two touchdowns in each of the past three games. Henry himself said he’s questioning his future in Tennessee after the game. Dynasty managers are doing the same thing as he's getting close to age 30. Henry's month has reminded us of what he's capable of but he's also had a few putrid outings this year. He'll try to turn it around next week but his dynasty ranking is only going to go down from here based on his age.

Derrick Henry had ten carries for 38 rushing yards in the Titans loss against Jacksonville.
Uh oh. Henry now has just 137 total rushing yards in his last three games as teams are having no problem stacking the box against a Titans offense that seems to be sputtering a bit. While he could break out at any point, his ceiling seems to be capped with Will Levis at the helm. Henry has fallen to our RB16 and that's not going to improve after this performance.

Derrick Henry is an amazing football player but the Titans offense is clearly holding him back. After this dismal 24 yards on 11 carries, Henry’s spot as the King is clearly in jeopardy. With just 19 catches on the season and more than 20 fantasy points in just one contest this week, Henry is looking much more like a RB2 than an elite fantasy asset at the moment. His age is going to push him down the rankings and his spot at RB16 is likely going to go down in the coming weeks if this offense doesn't start performing better.

Will he, or won't he? That's the question. All things being equal before week eight, the Titans should have been deep in negotiation for their plus-sized runner who is playing in the final year of his contract. By all appearances, the Titans don't have nearly enough to compete in 2023 and should be looking for building blocks in return for veterans Henry and DeAndre Hopkins, among others. But with Will Levis' huge debut, could the 3-4 team hold on and hope for better things to come over the second-half of the season? It would seem to be a fool's errand to believe the team would stage a playoff run given the current state of the roster and would be best suited moving star veterans for future assets. We'll know soon enough as the NFL tradeline is just over 24 hours away. Derrick Henry is listed as DLF's RB15 and is clearly a win-now asset in dynasty formats.
