Feleipe Franks signs with Atlanta
Feleipe Franks - QB, ATL

The Falcons have signed rookie UDFA quarterback Feleipe Franks

Dynasty Analysis

The large (6'6/228) specimen of a quarterback played four years in Florida, ultimately giving way to fellow rookie Kyle Trask, before transferring to Arkansas for his fifth and final collegiate year. In 2020, Franks produced 2,107 yards, 17 touchdowns to only four interceptions. In 2018, Franks produced 2,457, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 350 yards and seven additional touchdowns, looking the part of a potential NFL draftee. But in 2019, he suffered a particularly gruesome ankle fracture and dislocation similar to that of NFL quarterback Dak Prescott. The injury gave rise to Trask as the new starter for the Gators while Franks rehabilitated his ankle and transferred to Arkansas. Franks possesses all the necessary physical traits to develop as a passer in the NFL though is extremely raw in areas of intelligence and pocket-presence. The Falcons are arguably the perfect location for Franks to develop without pressure to start anytime soon. He's unranked on DLF's rookie rankings and is only on the radar for dynasty selection in super-flex league formats.
