Entering his age-30 season and with the Bengals in full rebuild mode, the move comes with no surprise. Bernard hasn't produced more than 460 rushing yards since 2015 when he tallied a career high 730 on 154 carries. His primary value has always been out of the backfield as a receiver and he did reel in 47 receptions in 2020, his highest total also since 2015. If there's any upside to Bernard in 2021, it's in the fact he has limited mileage on his legs and still displays dynamic with the ball in his hands. DLF's RB65 never produced to expectation and his upside and will likely be a deep-roster emergency stash for competitive dynast teams only depending on his next role.
