As expected. Tate was ineffective last season with just 35 catches for 388 yards and two touchdowns. When you combine his mediocre performance with a suspension he incurred for complaining about targets and the fact the Giants are saving $6 million with the move and it's was likely an easy decision. The 32-year old Tate is no longer the slot dynamo he once was, but he could provide a decent veteran presence on a team. Seattle is rumored to have interest, but Tate is unlikely to be anything but a roster clogger in dynasty leagues moving forward.
