Uh oh. Colbert instead said the Steelers would have to evaluate their cap situation and make an assessment from there. It's clear to everyone Roethlisberger would have to take a massive (if not historic) pay cut to remain in Pittsburgh next season and that's assuming they even want him back. With few obvious options (and nothing in-house), it's likely Roethlisberger restructures his contract to stay one more year. However, with longtime center Maurkice Pouncey retiring and coming off a down season, Big Ben's future is in doubt. At this point, Roethlisberger is a middling QB2 with his ranking as our dynasty QB28 in flux.
