The Bears famously (or infamously) traded up to draft Trubisky over the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson in 2017 only to see him post wildly inconsistent performances over the past three seasons. Chicago is in a bit of a pickle here as they don't have a worthy successor on the roster (sorry Nick Foles), and don't have a first round selection until #20, likely leaving them high and dry if they want to nab a premier signal caller in the NFL Draft. Trubisky showed enough late in the season to merit one more season, but the coaching staff seems to be overprotective of him and that conservative approach has likely limited his potential. Trubisky could simply re-sign or look to resurrect his career elsewhere. Our QB35, Trubisky's dynasty value is on life support, pending his free agency choice.
