By all accounts it was an ugly performance by Tagovailoa and the Dolphins on Sunday. Tua has now regressed in total production each week in his three starts though has yet to throw an interception to five touchdowns. The team, now 6-4, is in a precarious position as they remain fully in the playoff picture but their rookie starter is producing well below Fitzpatrick's production while he was under center and the team has clearly lost some of its momentum. Should Miami lose in week 12 to the winless Jets, it's not out of the question Fitzpatrick could be reinstalled as the starter. There's little long term implication here for the rookie, DLF's QB10, as he's clearly the team's future at the position but it still highlight's the team's curious timing for beginning the Tua era in South Beach.
