Williams is still recovering from an ACL tear suffered on Nov. 3, 2019 in a game vs. the Jets, a game in which he scored two touchdowns on five receptions for 72 yards. Word is he is recovering well and is on track for the start of the season though ACL recoveries often take a full year before physical and psychological health returns, so tempered expectations to start the season should be maintained. Williams' target volume could be unpredictable as the offense remains young and could feature rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa though veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to be under-center come week one. Regardless, the Miami offense is on the rise and could surprise this year. Preston Williams is found as DLF's WR48 and could well outplay this ranking with a healthy 2020.
