It's never been in question though DLF's RB22 has clearly fallen from grace after seemingly being drafted into a starting role as a rookie in 2018. In his rookie year, Montgomery could only muster 889 rushing yards on 242 attempts, with six touchdowns. He also chipped in with 25 receptions and another touchdown as a receiver. The Bears' offense sputtered badly in 2019 and change is on the wind, especially at quarterback where Nick Foles is projected as the new starter over Mitchell Trubisky.. But Montgomery should feature prominently as a runner and has upside to a three-down role if he proves capable. His current ADP (53) has been on the rise recently as dynasty teams look for lower-value upside at the position. At only 23 years of age, Montgomery has plenty of that.
