It was a disastrous year for Herndon, who was suspended for the first four games of the season, only to return and suffer a hamstring injury in practice. Once recovered, Herndon saw action in a single game during week 10 when he suffered a rib injury and was then placed on I.R. One reception, seven yards. That was his entire 2019 production. A popular sleeper candidate ahead of the 2019 season, he has now on the edge of the dynasty radar off and is a sleeper again in 2020. Still only 24 years of age, the athletic tight end has plenty of upside and opportunity to thrive in an offense badly needing receiver production. While you can't count out last year's fill-in Ryan Griffin, as long as Herndon remains healthy, he should be the clear starter and have upside should he garner material snaps. Chris Herndon is found as DLF's TE23.
