As a first round selected player, the Jaguars have a fifth-year option for Fournette's 2021 season. All signs point to the Jags allowing 2020 to play out before determining his fifth-year status with the club. Fournette rebounded in a big way in 2019, at least from a yardage perspective, by posting a career best 1,152 yards but only managed three touchdowns. He also amassed 76 receptions for another 522 yards but failed to score as a receiver. Most importantly, he remained healthy and played in 15 games. The Jaguars are likely to sit on their hands while waiting to see if Fournette can put together another strong rushing season before determining his fifth-year status while all eyes will remain focused on his conditioning and health. He's also a strong candidate to at least double his touchdown production in 2020 as long as he can remain on the field. However, as long as the Jaguars struggle at other skill positions, Fournette's production may be hampered. Leonard Fournette is found as DLF's RB10.
