T.J. Hockenson suffers ankle injury
TJ Hockenson - TE, DET

Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson suffered a nasty ankle injury in a loss to Chicago on Thanksgiving

Dynasty Analysis

One need only see the picture in the linked article to understand the possible severity. It's not pretty. He left the stadium on crutches and it certainly has the look of a season-ender, especially with the Lions having little to play for in the remaining games of 2019. If it is, indeed, his last game of 2019, he'll finish with 32 receptions, 367 yards and two touchdowns. Hockenson's first game as a professional vs. the Cardinals elicited glee from those who selected him in the first round of rookie drafts as he produced 131 yards and a touchdown on six receptions. As it turns out, that would turn out to be nearly half of his production over his next 11 games. Tight ends have a notoriously long integration period into the NFL and Hockenson has a combination of skills that still suggest he'll be a main-stay at the position as he develops. The 22 year-old is DLF's TE8 and should improve upon his rookie year numbers in 2020.
