It stands to reason that would not be the case should rookie Drew Lock have been healthy prior to this week. Flacco has been dismal as expected and appeared to be simply going through the motions in a blowout loss vs. the Chiefs on Thursday night as the boos rained down. He finished the game with 213 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked an astounding eight times. He's a literal statue in the pocket without the mobility to escape pressure while staring down receivers. Through seven games to start 2019, he's amassed a 6:5 touchdown to interception ratio and the Broncos now sit at 2-5 on the season and their playoff hopes are fading with no sign of a turn-around. Expect to see Lock sooner rather than later. Flacco has attained the status in fantasy where he's ranked in the top 32 of quarterbacks but is even-odds to be on the waiver wire, and for good reason. Stay away unless you have no other options.
