Mariota, a second round selection in 2015, showed periodic flashes over his five years in Tennessee but struggled with injuries and was never able to ultimately connect the dots. He never played a full 16 game season but, ironically, is as healthy as he's ever been in 2019 and was well on his way to doing just that. His best season came in his second year (2016) when he threw for 3,426 yards, 26 touchdowns to only nine interceptions, but he's regressed in every year since. Mariota, soon to be 26, is an UFA in 2020 and is certain to be in a new uniform next season barrings a set of unlikely circumstances and events. He'll get another chance under center but dynasty coaches are going to need to be patient while his future plays out and his new situation avails itself. For now, expect Marcus Mariota's value to hover just outside the top-32 quarterbacks in dynasty until something material changes in his situation.
