Lazard capitalized on injury to both Geronimo Allison (concussion) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle), to gain the favor of Aaron Rodgers. While MVS would eventually return, Lazard continued to receive looks from Rodgers, rewarding him by catching most everything thrown his way. On a night when multiple receivers let Rodgers down with their hands, it was Lazard who came through and showed his play-making ability. The 6'5 second-year player out of Iowa St. is going to be tough to keep off the field after that display considering lingering injury issues across the Packers' depth chart. Davante Adams continues to rehab from turf-toe and his status remains uncertain while Geronimo Allison is back in the league's concussion protocol, perhaps providing starting snaps for Lazard in week seven at home vs. the Raiders. Either way, consider an addition of Lazard should you have open roster space on the chance Lazard becomes a fixture at receiver going forward.
