He juggled his only reception and dropped a perfectly thrown pass late in the game which may have gone for a touchdown. Pettis, currently DLF's WR52, is struggling mightily with six receptions, 38 yards and a single reception through four games in 2019. He's in a battle for the WR4 role with Kendrick Bourne behind Marquise Goodwin, Deebo Samuel and Richie James. Pettis was a quick riser as a rookie late in 2018 as his snaps increased and production followed. While only finishing the year with 27 receptions, 467 yards and five touchdowns, most of that production came in the last five games of the year, fueling his rise into 2019. What has followed has been a tremendous disappointment with no signs of a change in fortune on the horizon. The 49ers, now 4-0 on the year, are finding success through other receivers and Pettis continues to slide. Dynasty owners should continue to hold Pettis but it's looking like a lost season.
