It could have been worse as an interception was questionably overturned upon replay. It was a bad night for the Chiefs overall and Mahomes received little help from his receivers who dropped multiple passes on the night. Combine that with Mahomes retweeking his ankle injury and Kansas City will gladly turn their attention to next week when they host Texans. It was obvious the ankle continues to play a role in his passing mechanics as he missed multiple opportunities for big plays down the field to receivers who had gained separation. For Mahomes, he now has only one passing touchdown over his past two games after logging ten over his first three. Things don't get easier following the Texans when Chiefs face off against the Broncos, Packers and Vikings in successive weeks. There's little reason for dynasty leaguers t o panic with Mahomes recent regression but it's not out of the question to consider other starting options based on match-up, though that would likely be reserved to only a few names. Patrick Mahomes is DLF's clear QB1 though it may be a few weeks until he returns to full health and his production follows suit.
