Conner's $9.5 million average annual salary will make him the seventh-highest-paid running back by annual value and the contract will keep him in Arizona through the 2026 season. This all but ensures Conner will be seen as the starter for the next two seasons, making Trey Benson managers more than a little disappointed. As for Conner, his dynasty value as a RB2 looks about as secure as it can get as he tries to churn out two more solid fantasy seasons.

Conner was having another great day with 117 rushing yards, four catches, and 49 receiving yards before getting hurt. There's no word yet on the severity of the injury, but it's hard to see Arizona putting him back in the lineup now that they've been eliminated from playoff contention. Conner will likely end the season with a career high 1,090 rushing yards, 45 catches, 410 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns. Fresh off a contract extension, Conner is perfect target for dynasty managers this off-season who are in need of a solid RB1/2 at a decent price.

While there have been a lot of running backs this year who have had more publicity than Conner, few have honestly been better. With 973 yards and seven touchdowns on the season, Conner should set career highs in just about every category over the next few weeks. He's been as steady as they come and with a nice new contract, he's a veteran running back worth investing in over the off-season.
