The Baltimore Ravens have signed running back Derrick Henry to a contract extension.
Dynasty Analysis
It's a two year deal worth $30 million and represents the largest contract ever given to a running back over 30 years old. It's a solid raise for Henry, who rewarded Baltimore with a whopping 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns in his first year away from Tennessee. This should lock him in for the rest of his career and Henry looks like the ultimate buy candidate for a contending dynasty team squarely in their championship window.

Dynasty Analysis
Henry was his usual dominant self in this one, routinely churning out yard after yard against a helpless Steelers defense. After rushing for nearly 2,000 yards this season, Henry is showing no signs of slowing down. While the workload is something for dynasty managers to be concerned about, he's also giving Father Time a run for his money. Henry will be a RB1 next season and prime trade candidate for any contending team.

Dynasty Analysis
After a slow start to the season, Henry really cranked things up and finished with a ridiculous 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns, making his first year in Baltimore the second best season of his career. He should enter next season a solid RB1 again in dynasty leagues, though he'll need to finish out the playoffs healthy and not show any signs of his age moving forward.
