Tank Dell is unlikely to play next season as he recovers from surgery.
Dynasty Analysis
As if the Texans drafting not one, but two receivers from Iowa State didn't clue you in, this latest report states what most dynasty managers were assuming - we aren't going to see Dell for a while. It's tough news to swallow, but also not much of a surprise as Dell suffered a catastrophic knee injury late last season. He'll remain a good roster stash, but his dynasty value has really sunk as a result of not one, but now two serious injuries during his time in the NFL.

Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is out for the season with a torn ACL and dislocated kneecap.
Dynasty Analysis
This is yet another devastating injury for Dell, who just can't seem to catch a break. He was having his best game of the season before suffering a gruesome knee injury on a touchdown catch yesterday that proved to be of the season-ending variety. The question now will be if he's going to be fully healthy for the 2025 season, which honestly seems unlikely at this point. The Texans claimed Diontae Johnson off waivers, but that's going to be a short-term solution. Houston will need to make a decision on how to move forward in the off-season with their receiving corps, especially considering Stefon Diggs was lost for the year as well. Dell is going to see his dynasty value sink a ton this off-season.
Texans wide receiver Tank Dell will stay overnight in a hospital after suffering a catastrophic knee injury in a loss to the Chiefs.
Dynasty Analysis
Dell was having his best game of the season with six catches for 98 yards and a touchdown before having suffering a terrible injury in the end zone when his own teammate rolled into his leg. The initial word is he's suffered a dislocated kneecap, but further tests and news seem likely to reveal much more damage than that. In short, Dell looks like a player looking at a lengthy recovery, one that could last well into next season. His dynasty value will suffer accordingly this off-season.
